An Analysis of Trends in Dissertations on Singing for a Master's Degree at a Graduate School of Education in 2011~2018
Abstract
본 연구는 가창 교육의 중요성을 연구하고, 2011~2018년도 가창 영역에 관한 교육대학원 석사 논문을 대상으로 동향 분석을 하고자 한다. 연구대상은 국회도서관의 전자도서검색을 활용하여 전체 170개의 논문을 대상으로 선정하였다. 분석 방법은 연구대상을 우리음악과 서양음악으로 나누고 연도별, 대상별, 주제별, 연구방법별, 연구수행별 등으로 분류했다.
우리음악에 대한 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 연도별 분석결과는 2012년도(11편, 6.47%)가 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 연구 대상에서는 인적 대상의 초등학생(17편, 10%)이 많다. 연구주제별로는 음악교수학습(32편,18.82%), 음악교과서 분석(12편, 7.06%)이 많이 선정된 주제다. 연구방법은 개발연구(23편, 13.53%)가 가장 많다. 연구수행별로 수업적용을 하지 않은 연구는 42편(24.71%)이다. 수업적용을 한 7편(4.12%)의 논문은 사전·사후 검사를 실시했다.
서양음악에 대한 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 연도별 분석결과는 2011, 2012, 2015년도가 각각 17편(10%)으로 가장 많은 연구가 행해졌다. 대상별 분석결과 가장 많이 연구된 대상은 인적 대상의 중학생(52편, 30.59%)이다. 연구주제별 분석결과에서 가장 많이 연구된 주제는 음악교수학습(79편, 46.47%)이다. 연구 방법은 개발연구(68편, 40%)가 가장 많았다. 연구 수행별 분석결과에서 수업적용을 하지 않은 연구는 98편(57.65%)이였다. 수업적용을 한 연구는 23편(13.53%)이였다.
이 연구를 통해 서양음악에 대한 연구가 우리음악 연구보다 높게 나타났다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 우리음악에 대한 연구가 좀 더 이루어져야할 것이다. 또한 중학생을 대상으로 하는 연구에서 다양한 학교 급별로 연구가 이루어지길 바란다. 특히 지도안을 제시한 개발연구가 많았는데, 개발연구 뿐만이 아니라 다양한 연구 방법으로 연구가 행해지길 바란다.| The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of singing education and analyze the trends of dissertations on singing for a master's degree at a graduate school of
education in 2011~2018. The subjects included 170 papers selected through e-book search at the National Assembly Library. For analysis, the investigator divided them into
papers on Korean music and those on Western music and classified them by the year, subject, topic, methodology, and research performance.
The analysis results of Korean music were as follows: the analysis results by year show that the largest amount of research was conducted in 2012 (11, 6.47%); the most popular subject group was elementary school students (17, 10%); the most popular research topics were music
teaching and learning (32, 18.82%) and analysis of music textbooks (12,7.06%); the most popular methodology was developmental research (23,13.53%); and while 42 pieces of research (24.71%) had no application tolessons, seven (4.12%) had lesson application and conducted a pre- and
post-test.
The analysis results of Western music were as follows: the analysis results by year show that 2011, 2012, and 2015 witnessed the largest amount of research done at 17 (10%) each; the analysis results by subject reveal that the most popular subject group was middle school students (52,
30.59%); the most popular topic was music teaching and
learning (79, 46.47%); the most popular methodology was developmental research (68, 40%); and while 98 (57.65%) pieces of research had no lesson application, 23 (13.53%) had lesson application.
The findings of the study indicate that there was more research on Western music than Korean music, raising a need for more research on Korean music. Future research should also include various school levels in addition to middle school students. There was a lot of developmental
research that proposed an instructional plan. Future
research will hopefully adopt various methodologies in
addition to developmental research.
