효과적인 인터랙션(Interaction)을 위한 웹진(Webzine) 디자인 연구 : 독립 웹진을 중심으로

Abstract

영문초록: p. 106-107|디지털 기술의 발달로 인한 매체융합으로 정보산업이 전반적으로 인쇄매체 중심의 전략에서 멀티미디어의 특징을 가진 영상 중심의 전략으로 전환되어가고 있고, Interaction의 성격을 가진 인터넷이 정보화 시대의 대표적인 매체로 자리잡아 가고 있다. 이러한 변화 속에서 등장한 인터넷상의 잡지인 웹진은 기존의 인쇄과정을 거치지 않고도 사용자들에게 최신 정보를 가장 빠른 시간 내에 전달할 수 있으며 상호대화가 가능하다는 점에서 정보사회의 새로운 매체로서 자리매김 하게 되었다. 웹진은 전통적인 '잡지'의 개념을 인터넷을 통해 구현하는 새로운 매체이다. '웹진'은 인터넷의 멀티미디어 서비스 「웹(Web)」 과 잡지를 뜻하는 「매거진(Megazine)」 이 결합된 용어로 '인터넷을 통해 독자들과 만나는 잡지'로 개략적인 의미를 설정할 수 있다. 본 논문은 웹진에서의 효과적인 인터랙션(Interaction)을 위한 인터페이스 디자인의 최적 활용 안을 제시하고, 국내 독립 웹진의 연구조사를 통한 그 문제점과 개선방안을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결론은 효율적 정보전달을 위한 웹진디자인 방법은 단순히 보기 좋은 디자인만이 아닌 사용성이 함께 고려된 디자인이어야 된다는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 사용자 중심의 디자인이 되어야 하며, 구조화되고 일관된 네비게이션으로 정보의 검색이 용이하도록 디자인하여야 한다. 또한 웹진에서의 대화방 게시판 등의 인터랙티브 기능을 최대한 살려서 사용자와의 원활한 유대관계를 지속시켜야 한다는 것이다. 웹진이 지니고 있는 신속성과 경제성, 상호 대화라는 특성들로 인해 앞으로의 발전 가능성은 무한하며 이를 위해 창의성과 시각매체에 대한 광범위한 이해를 지닌 디자이너들의 끊임없는 노력과 연구가 계속 되어져야 할 것이다.|With media united by development of digital technology, information industry has changed generally in strategies focused on the printing media into focused on images with multimedia features. And, Internet having a character of Interaction is being settled down as a representative medium of the informationalized period. Webzine, a magazine on Internet to appear under these changes, can communicate up-to-date information to users within the fastest time without the existing printing process as well as be available of interactive conversation. With these merits, the webzine has played a role of a new medium in the information society. Webzine is a new medium to embody the concept of the traditional 'magazine' with Internet. 'Webzine' is a term to combine 「Web」 of Internet multimedia service and 「magazine」 of general periodicals, and can be defined as 'the magazine to meet readers on Internet' roughly. In this study, I suggested the optimum plans to use interface design for effective interaction in the webzine and examined the problems and plans to improve them by researching independent webzine in Korea. The conclusion of this study is that not just good design but the good design with utility should be considered to communicate effectively information in designing webzine. For this, user-oriented design should be implemented and the design should enable users to search information easily by making structured and consistent navigation. In addition, it should keep the smooth relationship with users by maximizing the interactive function of menu such as a dialogue room and bulletin board in webzine. Webzine has limitless possibility to develop with its features including rapidity, economical efficiency, and interactive conversation in the future. Therefore, constant effort and studies should be required for designers with the broad understanding about visual media as well as originality.
