繪畵의 表現에서 記號學的 意味 硏究 = 本人의 作品을 中心으로

Abstract

영문초록: p. [40]-41|다수의 평론가(혹은 화가)들은 회화를 분석하기 위하여 다양한 방법론을 제시하는데, 특히 현대회화에 분석적 방법은 기호학에서 그 준거를 찾는 경우가 많다. 기호학의 관계 설정에서 첫째, 기호학은 문학, 언어학, 마르크시즘, 정신분석학, 인류학 등 새로운 연구 분석을 가능하게 하였다. 둘째, 현대회화에서 지식의 연속적 패러다임은 기호학적, 정신분석학적 입장을 취한다. 셋째, 현대회화의 연구방법은 다양한 타 문화와 상호작용을 하고 있다. 이와 같이 기호학은 회화의 새로운 연구방법과 다양한 타분야 학문과 상호작용을 통해 발전하면서 지식의 연속적 패러다임을 통한 비평이론을 정립하고자 했다. 회화연구의 주요 이론적 설명으로 대부분 방법론을 미리 설정하고 그 방법론에 따라 분석하고 해석하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구도 분석의 방법론적 측면에서 기호학적 이론을 그 준거로 한 것이다. 작품의 기호학적 분석이란 결국 기호의 양면성, 즉 기의와 기표의 분절 양상으로, 분석대상의 의미를 파악하는 것으로써 작품의 숨은 의미를 유추하는 것이다. 본 작품에 사용된 이미지의 의미를 퍼스가 제시한 이항대립적 관계에서 상대적 의미로 찾았으며 계열체와 통합체적 관계에서도 이미지들의 기호요소 조합의 결과로 통시적 관계로 의미를 설정하고자 하는 것이다.|Many critics or painters present various kinds of methods to analyze paintings. Especially analysis of the modern painting uses semiotics. Related to the semiotics, First, semiotics makes new analysis possible at literature, linguistic, Marxism, psychoanalysis and anthropology. Second, in the modern painting, the continuous paradigm of knowledge is placed in a position of semiotics and psychoanalysis. Third, studies of the modern painting interact with other cultures. In this manner, semiotics has developed through new methods of study and interaction of various other study fields. It tried to set up criticism theory through continuous paradigm of knowledge. In the theoretical study of painting, most of the people set up the methodology, then it is analyzed and interpreted by that methodology. Therefore, this paper uses the semiotics on methodology. The analysis of a painting at semiotics is that inferring hided meaning of the painting as catching the meaning of the subject for analysis, using double faces of sign - signified and signifier. In this painting, the meaning of image is founded by the relation of dyadic opposition which is suggested by Peirce. In the relationship of paradigm and syntagm, the images are compounded of elements of the sign, and that is simultaneous status of various meaning.
