繪畵에 表現된 象徵的 形象 硏究 : 本人의 作品을 中心으로

Abstract

예술가는 의식적이건 무의식적이건 자신이 살아가는 시대의 사회적, 역사적 현실을 포함하는 작업을 통해 새로운 이미지(Image)를 생산하고 이러한 이미지는 사회 구성원들 간의 의식구조를 함축하고 있으며 또한 비판하게 된다. 예를 들어 작가는 리얼리즘(Realism)이나 풍속화처럼 그 사회의 상황을 직접적으로 보여주는 작업을 통해서 사회상에 대한 작가의 의지를 나타내기도 하지만 직접적인 개입이 없는 은유적인 표현만으로도 사회의 시대정신을 반영할 수 있게 되는 것이다. 이것은 작가가 속해있는 사회상이 작가의 사상에 포함되어 나타나는 것인데 작가는 그 시대를 살아가는 일원으로서 자신이 살고 있는 사회의 상황과 의식적, 또는 무의식적으로 교감을 나누며 영향을 받게 되기 때문이다. 그러므로 이렇게 제작된 이미지는 작가의 지극히 개인적인 감정과 이성을 담고 있으나 작가가 속해있는 사회의 시대적 반영을 포함하게 되고 이러한 이미지들은 그 사회의 모든 구성원들과의 의사소통을 통하며 공감대를 부여받게 되는 것이다. 이와 같이 작가가 작품을 생산해내는 행위는 자신이 속해있는 사회에 대한 개인적인 발언(發言)이며 작가의 주관적인 필요성, ?뭏? 들어 자신이 속해있는 사회의 부조리나 불합리, 또는 사회적 불안이나 갈등 같은 감정들의 이입에서 오는 작가의 사상과 그 자신이 바라는 이상화를 추구하는 개인적 표현인 것이다. 따라서 본 논문은 작품에 대한 이론적 뒷받침으로 시대의 반영을 포함하고 있는 주제를 효과적으로 표현하기 위한 적절한 방법이라 생각되는 '상징적 형상(象徵的 形象)' 에 대한 개념을 연구하고 이러한 '상징적 형상' 들이 작품 속에서 어떻게 나타나는가를 서술하고자 하였으며 개별 작품에 대한 분석을 통하여 기존의 창작행위에 대한 주제의식과 조형성을 검토 하고자 한다.|Artists produce new image through the work to include the social and historical actualy that they live consciously or unconsciously, and this image is implying the way of thinking among society members and also it gets to criticize the one. For example, artists show the will of artists for social conditions through the work to express the situation of the society directly like realism or landscape, but they get to reflect the period spirit of society naturally only with the metaphorical expression in which there is not direct intervention. This is because the social conditions of society with which they are affiliated is what appears by being included in the thought of artists and artists gets to be influenced, sympathizing with the situation of society in which they live consciously or unconsciously as the members to live in the period. So, image manufactured like this is including extremely individual feeling and reason of them, but it gets to include the period reflection of society which they are affiliated. These images communicate with all the members that the society is including consciously or unconsciously regardless of realistic image or ideal image of abstract image, and they get to be granted sympathy zone. Action that artists produce works like this is the individual speech for the society with which they are affiliated, and it is the individual expression to seek the subjective necessity of them, for example, artists' own thought from empathy that they get to feel in the society like the absurdity or irrationality of society with which they are affiliated or the social uneasiness or trouble and the idealization that they hope. Thus, in this thesis, this researcher tried to study the aesthetic concept on symbolical form to be considered as the most suitable method for expressing subject effectively, describe how these symbolical forms are being expressed in works, and examine the subject consciousness and plastic nature for existing creation action through the analysis on individual work.
