現代人-익명적 인간과 공간표현에 관한 연구 - 본인의 작품을 중심으로 -

Abstract

본 논문은 2002년부터 2004년까지 대학원 과정에 제작된 본인의 작품을 대상으로 하여 작품에서 표현하고 있는 주제의 내용적 배경과 표현 방법에 있어서 조형적인 특징을 연구 분석한 것이다. 본인의 작품은 도시화 된 사회 속에서 소외되고 비인간화된 삶을 영위하고 있는 현대인의 모습을 표현한다. 현대인은 바쁘게 돌아가는 고도화된 기술과 물질문명으로 채워진 현대사회에서 생존을 위해 본인의 의지와는 다르게 감정을 누르고 타협을 하며 살아가야 한다. 감정의 억누름이 계속되면 현대인의 답답함은 극에 달하게 되지만, 바쁘게 돌아가는 현실 속에서 현대인은 원하는 대로 자유롭게 행동하거나 이탈을 꿈꿀 수가 없다. 이러한 상황이 계속 이어지면 사회구성원으로서 제대로 된 삶을 영위해 나가지 못하게 되어 자신의 정체성을 잃고 익명화 되어간다. 그러므로 현대인은 지쳐가고, 타인과의 관계 속에서 괴리감과 갈등을 느끼는 속에서 그들은 소외되고 비인간화되어진다. 본인은 이러한 현대인의 모습을 본인의 작품표현 주제로 삼았다. 따라서 본 논문의 작품내용-현대인의 소외, 비인간화-를 논하고 소외를 극복하고자 하는 현대인의 모습을 자연과의 만남을 통하여 회복할 수 있다는 개인적인 소망을 갖고 그에 관한 내용을 서술한 것이다. 그리고 이러한 현대인의 모습을 작품에서 익명적 인간과 공간으로 표현하였다. 따라서 작품의 조형적 분석으로, 익명적 공간 표현을 위해 사용된 중첩된 선들이 가지는 드로잉적인 요소와 선의 의미에 대해 설명하고, 현대인의 모습을 색채의 중첩을 통해 빈 공간으로 표현하여 그 모습은 마치 화면상에서 공허함과 외로움을 느끼게 하고자 한 본인의 의도를 서술 하였다. 그리고 판화제작의 따른 표현기법의 설명으로 석판화를 선택하게 된 의미와 재료마다 가지는 속성 및 표현 의도를 밝히고, 본인의 작품을 제시하여, 작품해설을 통해 구체적인 표현내용 및 조형적 시도와 적용을 논하여 본인의 조형관을 형성하고자 하였다.|This study is what researched and analyzed its formative context in terms of the background and of an expressive method in contents that are mainly being represented in a work, targeting oneself's work that had been manufactured through the process of graduate school from 2002 to 2004. A work of the person oneself tried to examine a concept of contents about it, while seeing the looks of modern people, who are busily living amid the urbanized society, as solitude and dehumanization. Modern people are being transformed and interrupted into the contradictory cluster, aiming to survive amid society. The person oneself researched focusing on mental conflicts (alienation, loneliness, and dehumanization) that come to be suffered while modern people proceed with living, first as the theoretical background and the social existence in the expressive contents of a work, by representing these looks as the anonymously human being and the space. As the formative analysis on this, the person oneself divided the structure of society that represented modern people's mental conflicts, which are experienced externally and internally amid society, into the anonymously human being and the space. And, it was explained about the drawing-wise form and a meaning of the represented line which are possessed in a work by the amassed lines that were used for expressing as the anonymous space, and was processed the shape of an anonymously human being as the empty space that does not require the specific image. The looks allow it to be felt just like the vanity and loneliness of modern people. Like this, it was described a meaning about the looks of anonymously human being that were represented on a work of the person oneself. And, it was tried to clarify each intention of representation being possessed by colors that were used aiming to express this spatial presentation and the modern's looks. Also, it was strived to clear up a feeling that materials have and the expressive intention that is being shown in a work, by analyzing a meaning that came to select the lithograph technique and the formative languages that were formed in oneself's work, in terms of the explanation about the expressive technique of a work. Finally, it was aimed to put forward the specific plate about oneself's work and to help with understanding by, in detail, explaining the expressive contents and the formative attempt and application.
