현대인의 사회적 이미지에 대한 조형화 연구

Abstract

문명의 발전은 인간사회를 크게 변화시키고 있으며 현대에 와서 그 속도는 아무도 예측하기 힘들어지고 있다. 이러한 문명의 발전은 인간사회에 긍정적인 면과 부정적인 면으로 다가와 인간으로 하여금 급변하는 사회 속에서의 현명한 적응을 유도하고 있다. 눈부신 사회의 발전은 인간의 삶을 윤택하게 하기도 하지만 동시에 산업화로 인하여 점차 인간의 삶은 피패해지고 있는 것도 부정할 수 없는 사실이다. 결국 인간은 자신의 본질이나 성능을 발휘하기 위해 창조한 문명에 도리어 자아를 상실해 가고 있다 해도 과언이 아니다. 이와 관련해 본인은, ‘현대인’이 사회의 주체임에도 불구하고 발달된 문명과 빠르게 돌아가는 사회구조 속에서 자아상실, 인간소외, 개성상실 등의 이유로 인간이 하나의 “기능 덩어리”로 보여 지고 있음을 심각한 현실문제로 여겨 왔다. 따라서 ‘현대인’을 주제로 인체를 분석하여 현대 문명사회에서의 인간의 형상을 상징화 하고자 하였다. 조형의 의미로서 인간의 형상은 정신과 육체로 설정하였으며, 정신은 현대인의 머리를, 육체는 현대인의 몸을 의미한다. 또한, 현 사회 속에서 소외된 인간의 위기를 문명사회를 대변하는 구조물과 접목시켜 표현하고 있다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 측면에서 본인의 작품들을 대상으로, 작품의 배경과 표현 방법 등을 구체적으로 서술한 것이며 2004年에 제작한 본인의 작품 중 석사학위 청구 전에서 발표했던 작품들을 중심으로 연구 서술한 것으로 다음과 같이 3개의 장으로 구성하였다. 제 1 장 서론에서는 연구의 배경 및 목적 그리고 방법 등을 설명하였다. 제 2 장 본론에서는 작품들의 배경이 되는 내용들을 이론적 측면에서 접근하였으며 작품의 조형방법과 각 작품들에 대한 분석 내용들로 구성하였다. 제 3 장 결론에서는 본 논문의 내용들을 개괄적으로 정리하고, 향후 작품들의 작업방향에 대하여 설명하였다.|The development of modern civilization changes human society and no one knows the speed of change. The development of modern civilization comes positive and negative part, so it leads the wise adjustment to man in rapidly changing society. The development of glaring society fertilizes human's life, but at the same time it is evident true that human's life becomes poor because of the industrialization. After all, it is within bounds to say that the human lose the self by the creative civilization to show his true nature or ability. In relation to the development of modern civilization, although a modern person is the subject of society I think a serious problem of actuality which is displayed one's "fucntion mass" by the self loss, human alienation, personality loss within a developing civilization and a rapidly changing structure of society. So I want to symbolize the human's shape of modern civilization society as the subject of "a modern person" by analyzing the human body. As the meaning of modeling, the shape of human is established by the mind and body, and the mind means a modern person's head, and the body means a modern person's body. Also, in modern society a alienated crisis of the human is expressed by integrating the structure which represents the society of civilization. This thesis is organized by three chapter as follows, it is a thing which describes a piece of work's background and expression method in a concrete, and among 2004' my works which is presented before the demand of a master's degree. The first chapter - An introduction explains the background of study, object, and method. The second chapter - The main subject is organized as the contents of work's background, the work's modeling method and contents. The third chapter - The conclusion summarize the contents of thesis in a general way, and explain about the direction of work from now on.
