현대음악 수용을 위한 음악활동 연구 : 중학교 음악 수업을 중심으로

Abstract

현대음악은 전 시대의 고정적인 양식적 특징에서 벗어나 작곡가 자신이 추구하는 자유로운 방법으로 음악을 창조하였다. 또 급속도로 변하는 시대적 상황을 음악에 잘 표현하였기 때문에 현대음악을 통하여 청소년들의 창의력과 개성을 일깨워줄 수 있고, 더 나아가서는 그들이 살고 있는 사회를 이해하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다. 또한, 현재의 음악을 이해함으로써 미래의 음악 문화를 수용하는데 필요한 새로운 미적 감각과 폭넓은 사고 방식을 갖게 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 현대음악의 교육적 가치를 중요하게 생각하여 다음과 같은 방법으로 현대음악의 수용을 위한 음악활동 방법을 연구하였다. 첫째, 현대음악의 다양한 양식적 특징들 중에서 다양화된 선율, 새로운 화성기법, 무조음악, 리듬의 변화와 새로운 박자개념, 대위법에 대한 관심, 다양한 음악적 짜임새와, 다양한 악기 사용에 의한 다양한 음색, 새로운 음악장르, 새로운 악기편성, 음악적 형식의 변화에 대해 고찰하였다. 둘째, 이러한 다양한 현대음악의 양식적 특징 중에서 리듬 및 박자·화음·음색을 선택하여 이들 요소를 구체적으로 살펴보았고, 그러한 요소들을 들을 수 있는 대표적인 음악과 간단한 악보를 제시하였다. 셋째, 학생들이 현대음악에 쉽게 접근하고 흥미를 갖도록 하기 위해서 현대음악의 특징적 요소들을 중심으로 '개념적 접근방법 → 감상 → 창작 → 연주 및 정리'의 단계로 음악활동을 전개하였다. 이러한 음악활동 방법을 제시한 이유는 학생들이 현대음악의 특징적 요소를 개념화하여서 현대음악과 그 이전 시대와의 차이를 알아야 하며, 현대 음악을 들었을 때 현대음악의 특징적 요소를 이해하고, 올바른 표현을 할 수 있어야 하기 때문이다. 또한 특징적 요소들을 직접 창작해보고 연주해 봄으로써 현대음악에 계속적인 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 하였다. 넷째, 중학교 학생을 대상으로 하여 이러한 활동을 바탕으로 한 학습지도안을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 학생들이 현대음악을 쉽게 이해하고, 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 하기 위하여 현대음악의 특징적 요소 중에 리듬 및 박자·화음·음색을 선택하였으며, 그 요소들을 바탕으로 '개념적 접근 방법 → 감상 → 창작 → 연주 및 정리'의 단계로 음악활동을 전개하였다. 이러한 음악활동이 학교의 실제 수업에 도입되어 학생들이 현대음악을 쉽게 이해하고 계속적인 흥미와 관심을 가질 수 있는 동기부여가 되길 바란다.|Contemporary music was created in different way as freely as musicians pursued. Expressing rapidly changing world and current situation in music, contemporary music is very helpful for the youth to promote their creativity and personality, and also expand understanding the society which they live in. Further more understanding current music will give them an aesthetic sense and a broad thought to accept the new culture of music in the future. The analyzing method for educational value of contemporary music in this thesis is ; First, various styles of contemporary music diversity of melody, new technique of harmony, atonal music, change of rhythm and new concept of musical time pattern, counterpoint, musical structure, use of instruments and various timbres, change of musical form were investigated. Secondly, this thesis were chosen rhythm and beat, harmony, timbres among these various characteristic factors of contemporary music and studied extensively. Exemplary scores and music were provided. Thirdly, make it possible to approach easily, musical activities were developed in the analytic steps; 'conceptual approach → appreciation → creation → performance·conceptual arrangement'. It is why I suggest this method that students have to know about difference between contemporary music and the music before that age. Moreover when they listen it they should understand the distinctive feature of contemporary music, so present it correctly. Beside they can be interested in contemporary music by play it by themselves. Fourthly, I suggest a course of study for middle school students on a ground of above-mentioned. This thesis is written for make student understand contemporary music easily, and interest themselves in it. 'Conceptual approach → appreciation → creation → performance·conceptual arrangement' based on distinctive feature of contemporary music; rhythm, beat, harmony, timbres can help it possible. This thesis can motivate student have interest and make them understand contemporary music easily. Many teacher choose this suggested course of study for their tool, so many students.
