韓紙作業을 통한 自然 이미지 表現 硏究 : 本人의 作品을 中心으로

Abstract

자연은 예로부터 인간의 끝없는 관심의 대상이었고 생활의 터전이었으며 그 신비스러움과 장엄함으로 인하여 인간으로 하여금 늘 표현하고자 하는 욕구를 느끼게 한다. 그리고 자연은 예술가에게 수많은 소재를 제공하고 언제나 풍부하게 예술에 대한 표현의 기회를 준다. 그러나 이것은 받아들이는 작가의 마음에 따라 소재를 선택할 뿐만이 아니라 그것을 재구성하여 자연에서 질서와 법칙을 발견한다. 예술은 어느 시대 어느 민족의 미술 양식이나 그 토대가 되는 것이 자연이었다는 사실을 쉽게 알 수 있다. 하나의 독창적인 예술형식이 쇠퇴하면서 새로운 형식이 발생하는데 있어 그 형식의 발생 동기나 정신의 배경이 되는 것이 현실이나 자연에 대한 또 하나의 새로운 발견이었다는 것은 동·서양을 막론하고 공통된 사실일 것이다. 이렇듯 예술가는 자연에서 끊임없이 미(美)를 추구하고 또 자연은 무궁무진한 자료를 제공해 주고 있다. 본 연구자는 오늘날 현대의 각박한 도시생활 속에서 한 발 물러나 자연이 주는 아름다움과 여유로움, 잃어버린 자신만의 마음속에 간직한 자연의 이미지를 산, 꽃, 비라는 매개체를 통해 한지의 다양한 표현 기법과 먹(墨), 색(色), 선(線)으로 나타내었다. 또한 한지의 특성을 살려 자연의 이미지를 형상화함으로써 강인한 생명력과 신비감, 그리고 자연의 ?堧肩恝漬? 아름다움을 주관적 심상의 소재로 삼아 조형적으로 재구성하여 혼돈과 무질서한 사회에서 잠시나마 위안을 얻고자 하였다. 이론적 연구에서는 인간이 자연에서 제공받는 내적 심상의 이미지를 표현하기 위해 한지의 역사와 특징을 연구하고 회화에서의 자연의 이미지를 고찰해 보며, 방법적 연구로는 한지를 물에 불려 주물러 반죽하는 것과 손이나 도구를 이용한 선 긋기나 두드리기, 찍기 등 다양한 한지를 이용한 기법적인 면과 본인의 심상에서 걸러진 자연 이미지 표현에 대해 설명하였다. 본 논문은 한지를 이용해서 내면에 깊이 자리 잡고 있는 자연의 이미지를 외적으로 조형화 한 것으로 다양한 표현방법을 사용하여 한지작업을 새로운 시각으로 재조명해 보았고, 이를 통하여 내적 표현방법을 습득하여 작품에 대한 전면적인 점검과 작업방향을 보완해 나가는 계기가 되리라 보며, 앞으로 더 많은 소재를 접하고 다양한 기법과 탐구를 모색하여 새로운 한지작업을 연구하고자 한다.|Nature offers numerous materials to artists, and gives opportunity for art generously anytime. But, he(or she) chooses material from nature and also reconstitutes it in accordance with the mind of artists to accept, and human beings discover order and law from nature. And, it can be seen that the base of art was nature in any race and in the fine art style of any period easily. It may be common fact that the appearance motive of the form or what becomes the background of spirit in the appearance of new form, while one original art form declines were just another new discovery for actuality or nature regardelss of the East and the West. Like this, artists seek beauty endlessly from nautre, and nature is offering infinite data. Thus, this researcher tried to express the beauty and generosity that nature gives and nature kept in one's own lost mind by withdrawing from the exigent city life and this rapidly developing world with one step. And, this researcher tried to make the tough life power and mysteriousness of nature and the wonderfulness and beauty of nature of the materials of subjective image by making the image of nature into form through giving life to the feature of Korean paper and tried to take comfort even for a while in the confused and disorderly society of today by trying to express Korean paper plastically through reconstituting it. Thus, this researcher expressed the vivid image that nature gives to us with the diverse expression techniques of Korean paper, Indian ink, color and line by finding subjects to be mountain, flower, and rain. In addition, this researcher utilized material freely by soaking Korean paper in water, fingering, and kneading it, so that the feature peculiar to pure Korean paper may be expressed with nature hand skill about original and vivid image. And, about expression techniques also, this researcher used drawing a line which uses hands or striking which uses brush, and printing etc. about expression techniques also. About color, this researcher expressed the warmth to be felt in nature. And, this researcher expressed the image to be felt in nature by the spreading of Indian ink softly by filtering it with the image of this researcher. In this study, this researcher tried Korean paper work peculiarly by using diverse expression methods as what made the image of nature which is settling in inside deeply outwardly by using Korean paper, and this researcher could learn th expression method of art through it, and is expecting that it may be the momentum for the complete inspection for work and for supplementing it, and tries to grope for the diverse techniques and searches and aim atestablishing new Korean paper work by contacting more materials in the future.
