한자와 색채를 이용한 내면세계 연구

Abstract

예술은 단순히 감각적 이미지, 사고 그 자체를 위한 것이 아니라 예술가의 정서와 감성을 함축하고 있는 하나의 표현양식 이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 많은 예술가들은 이 표현양식을 통해 의식 세계적 체험에 의한 환경 반응과 자신의 내부에서 일어나는 다양한 심리 상태의 변화 즉, 무의식 세계에서의 감정의 흔적을 말하고자 하고 있다. 본인의 작품 또한 이를 바탕으로 하여 다양한 기법적인 시도를 통한 함축된 이미지를 찾고자 하는데, 나를 둘러싸고 있는 자연, 사람, 등 생활의 모든 다양한 요소들이 작품의 근원이 되고, 자율적 표현을 위한 필수 요건이 되고 있다. 이중에서도 체험을 바탕으로 한 기억의 흔적이 중요한 의미를 갖고 있는데, 이는 현대 사회의 획일화된 사회 구조와 자극적인 문화상, 그 속에서 점점 메말라 가는 정서에서 조금 이남아 위로가 되어주고 있는 사람과 사람간의 정, 그리고 도시속의 자연에서 느껴지는 휴식 같은 편안함, 이러한 여유로움의 추억이 지금을 살아가고 있는 자신에게 큰 힘이 되어주고 있기 때문이다. 지금 말하고자하는 본인의 작품 에서는 한자를 이용하여 우리에게 친숙한 동양적 이미지와 절제된 형태미를 통한 자아 내면의 심상을 나타내고자 하였다. 또한 내적 감성이나 무의식적 심상 이미지를 우연에 의한 도상들로 재미있게 구성 해 보았다. 이 작업은 본인에게 있어 무한한 가능성의 공간으로서 형식적인 것을 떠나 자유로운 무의식세계의 감성에 가시성을 부여하고 있다. 본 논문 에서는 이러한 감성적 체험에 의한 본인의 내면에 자리 잡고 있는 서정적 심상을 화면 내에서 깊이 있게 표현하기 위해 다양한 형식을 시도해 보았다. 이것은 색체의 얼룩을 만들어 부분적으로 명암, 마티에르 등과 일체적 조형요소를 만드는 기법을 병행하여 의식적 표현과 무의식적 표현의 결합을 조화롭게 하는 또 하나의 기법이 되고 있다. 여기서 색체는 단순히 그 자체의 순수함 뿐 아니라 작품의 내용이나 주제, 조형적 요소를 부가하기위한 상징적 속성으로 표현 된다. 인간의 희로애락과 자연의 흔적을 심상의 색체로 담아 표현하는 작가로, 동양적인 사유와 내면적 서정성을 담고픈 작가로서, 본 논문의 작업과정과 작품분석을 통해서 본인 작품의 정체성을 확고히 정립하고, 더 나아가 실험적이며 진취적인 작업, 더 발전적인 작품으로 나아가는 초석을 만들고자 한다.|Art is accepted as a form of delivering something else to present sensible patterns, image, and thought rather than as the representation of them directly. It can therefore be said that an work of art contains the complete description of emotion and feeling. So many artists try to contain some implications in their works. Human beings try to express a certain strong movement deeply located in their inner world by means of expression. Such a strong movement can be a reaction to environment by experiences in our conscious world, a reaction to many changes in the psychological state that occur in our own inner world, or a trace of memories and emotions in the unconscious world, and imagination for free expression. For me, the whole nature, living, and the entire world around me are the only source of all my works. So my work is an essential condition for free expression which makes me see, feel, and image all circumstances around me. In my works, a trace of one memory is meaningful as an important theme based on experiences. In this busy and complicated modern society, our eyes are exposed to too stimulative things in a defenseless state. And we are kept down within an urbanized society in any type and live in a city with increasingly cold hearts and oppressive atmospheres. So I keep an abundance of traces of kindness of people I met, gratitude for nature, and comfort and relax within nature in my heart. Thus, I try to use symbolic forms such as characters in an Oriental atmosphere with familiarity and unfamiliarity to express aesthetics of restrained forms and inner images. And I tried to construct a picture of inner senses and unconscious images with traces of drawings by chances. This work is an unconscious world free of formal things as a space with infinite possibilities, expression of inner feelings, and the new field of aesthetics to make invisible things visible. This study pursued an original form to realize profound lyrical images located in my inner world through such emotional experiences in the picture. This jointly uses a method of making many formative elements including light and darkness, and matiere, while creating colorful spots, to combine intentional with unintentional parts naturally, which is recreated by my own techniques. Here, color is expressed in symbolic attributes to add content, themes, and formative elements as well as simply purity of its own to a work. As an artist who expresses all the feelings of human beings and traces of nature in color and who wants to possess Oriental meditation and inner lyricism, I wish this study to be an opportunity to consolidate identity of my works and develop them into experimental, progressive, and more developmental works through working processes and analyses.
