한국적 다문화주의 음악교육의 대안에 대한 연구

Abstract

21세기는 과학문명의 발달로 세계화, 정보화, 문화의 시대를 맞이하여 인종과 민족, 종교와 문화의 장벽이 허물어지고 세계는 하나라는 ?지구촌? 건설의 이상을 이루기 위해 다문화주의 교육의 필요성이 대두 되었다. 이 연구에서는 수적으로 증가하고 있으나 사회, 교육, 정책 등 한국 사회에서 소외되고 있는 코시안과 이주(미등록 이주) 노동자 자녀를 위한 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육의 대안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 내용은 다문화주의의 개념과 목적, 다문화주의 음악교육의 개념과 필요성에 대한 고찰과 한국적 다문화주의의 필요성, 음악교과서에 나타난 아시아권 음악분석과 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육의 대안으로 구성 되어 있다. 이 연구의 방법은 다문화주의 관련 참고자료를 토대로 문헌 연구를 하였다. 현행 교과서에는 다문화적 악곡들이 유럽과 아메리카로 편중되어 있어서 한국 상황에 맞는 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육이 되지 못하는 상황이다. 증가하는 태국, 필리핀, 베트남의 코시안과 한국 학생들을 위해 교과서 제재 곡의 개편이 이루어 져야 한다. 이 연구에서는 초 ․ 중 ․ 고등학교 음악교과서에 수록 된 아시아권 음악을 조사 하였으며 분석을 토대로 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육의 대안으로 태국 2곡(맹뭉, 푸야이 리), 필리핀 3곡(비하이 꾸보, 사리도마이, 우사하이), 베트남 3곡(추 보이 꼰어 빤돈, 리 디아 빠임 보, 호빠리)의 악보와 초 ․ 중 ․ 고등학교 별로 각각 한 곡씩 교수-학습계획안을 제시하였다. 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육은 코시안과 이주 노동자 자녀들에게는 한국사회에 잘 정착 할 수 있게 하며, 한국 학생들에게는 다양한 민족의 고유한 문화와 그들의 사회를 이해할 수 있도록 한다. 그러므로 한국적 다문화주의 음악교육을 위한 교육적 정책이 심층적으로 이루어져야 한다.|In the 21st century entering upon the era of globalization, information and culture, along with the development of scientific civilization, the barriers between human races, nations, regions and cultures have been collapsed, and the world has the goal to form the ?global village? meaning that the world is one. For this goal, the necessity of multicultural education has been on the rise. The purpose of this study is to present an alternative plan regarding Korean multicultural music education for the Kosian children (who are born of the Korean and Asian parents) and the children of immigration (unregistered immigration) laborers who are increasing in number but are neglected in Korea societies including the community, education and politics. The subject matters of this study are related to the concept and purpose of multiculturalism, consideration on the concept and necessity of multicultural music education, the necessity of Korean multiculturalism, the analysis of Asian music included in music textbooks, and the alternative plan regarding Korean multicultural music education. This study is performed, by a method of researching literatures and documentary records based on referential materials relating to the multiculturalism. The textbooks now in use place too much emphasis on the multicultural music pieces of Europe and America. Thus, in fact, the Korean multicultural music education to accord with the Korean situation is not performed practically. The music utilized in the music textbooks needs to be reedited, considering Kosian students (one of the parents comes from Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and so on), who are numerically increasing, and the Korean students. In this study, research is conducted with respect to the Asian music included in textbooks used in elementary, middle and high schools, and a plan for improving the Korean multicultural music education is presented based on an analysis. As the alternative plan for the Korean multicultural music education, there are provided two pieces of Thailand music (Meang mung, Ppu yai ri), three pieces of Philippine music (Bi hai kku bo, Saridomai, U sa hai), and three pieces of Vietnamese music (Ch'u kkon ŏ ppan don, Li dia ppaim bo, Hoppari). In addition, one piece of music for each of elementary, middle and high schools is provided for the teaching-learning plan. The Korean multicultural music education enables the Kosian children and the immigration laborers󰡑children to more stably settle in the Korean society and enables the Korean students to better understand various nations native culture and societies. Accordingly, the educational policy for the Korean multicultural music education needs to be prepared and supported in depth.
