하이힐의 이미지를 통한 형태변형 연구

Abstract

예술은 현실세계의 경험을 중심으로 이루어지는 하나의 산물로서, 예술에 있어서 인간의 주변상황과 일상적 삶의 경험들의 모습을 반영한다. 일상의 경험을 통해 보여지는 사물들은 끊임없는 반복적 행위들의 결과물로서, 그것은 더 이상 일상의 사물이 아닌, 하나의 환상속의 사물로 등장하는 것이다. 본인은 이러한 환상속의 사물로서의 대체물로 하이힐을 선택하였다. 하이힐은 베트맨의 가면처럼 평범한 일상의 나날들을 벗어난 정의로움을 발산하는 슈퍼히어로(super hero), 슈퍼우먼(super women)으로의 변신을 가능케 하는 마법적인 대상인 것이다. 본인의 힐의 향연은 도시의 여성들에게 이러한 힐의 존재에 대한 물음에서 시작된 것이다. 여성들, 특히 작가본인 에게 있어 하이힐은 현실에서 이상으로, 이상에서 다시 현실로 넘나드는 하나의 환상속의 사물로 존재하는 것이다. 대량생산품이자 소비대상인 하이힐을 통해 현대 여성들의 존재와 생활이 투영된다. 표현방법에 있어서는 하이힐의 이미지와 상징들을 토대로 형태의 변형을 통해 작품화 한다. 일상의 오브제인 하이힐을 통해, 이상공간에 대한 인간의 끝없는 욕망을 작품을 통해 표출해 낸다. 이러한 본인의 작품의 소재의 선택과 사용은 팝아트에서 찾아볼수 있다. 그리하여 본문에서는 본인의 작품의 이론적 토대가 되는 팝아트의 개념과 특징을 살펴보았다. 작품의 조형적 특성과 작품분석을 통해 작품의 정체성을 확립하는 계기를 마련코자 한다. 나아가, 본인의 작품에 도입된 대중예술로서의 팝아트가 대중적이고 일상적인 소재를 수용함으로써 대중과의 소통에 있어서의 역할에 대해 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 본인 작품의 형성배경과 근원을 찾는 것에 그 목적을 두고 있으며, 본인의 대중적이고 유희적인 표현을 통해, 대중과 예술과의 간격을 좁혀 소통의 매개(媒介)로 삼아, 모든 매체(媒體)를 조각의 범주로 포괄하여 작업과정과 작품을 논하고자 한다.|Art is intrinsic to the real world and the experiences within which me give. We are all products of art.Art is all around us. Human beings everydaylife experiences and surroundings are the scene for art life. Daily life is built upon the experiences of taking everyday acts and constantly repeating them. One can get lost in the daily straggle of life and the appreciation of beauty and art transcends us to a higher plain. Possession of art allows us to possess beauty and illusions of it. My illusion of beauty is represented by the art form of the high heel. To wear high heels makes a woman feel like she is on top of the world .No longer living the ordinary like,she feels more sexy,confident,beautiful, she leaves behind the shackles of mundanity to encompass on all powerful,righteons evocative woman coipable of stepping up to a higher level. The high heel itself although not as comfortable or practical as everyday shoes,is an elegant,beautifully designed shoe. To achieve beauty reguires hard work,talent,commitment , to chieve the dizzying heights of perfections,sacrifices are heeded. The slight impractahtion of the high heel are nothing compared to the beauty,power,confidence and feeling you achieve to stand on top of the heels. Like on all congrering superhero,superwoman making it possible to make a change to people's lives. The benefit of high heels mean you look taller,and make you legs slimmer and longer. This illusion has asthetic appeal to many women. A recent study suggested that meaning heels may improve the tone of a woman's pehric floor and overall posture. Inspired by pop artists,I took the subject of reality and added pop twist.Reality becomes an illusion pop art was introduced to the masses through ordinary communication, example advertising,therefore beconing a easier method for conveying your art. I have chosen pop art as a method for introducing my art to the people for them hopefully to enjoy. Art is beauty,beauty is art,high heels are beautiful and therefore high heels are art.
