축약된 형상과 동적 이미지를 통한 자아 표현연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2001년도에 제작한 본인의 판화작품을 중심으로 제작 동기와 함께 내용적 측면과 조형적 측면으로 나누어 분석한 것이다. 인간이 유기체로서 삶을 이어가는 동안 하고자하고 되고자하는 소망은 끊임없이 우리를 따라다니며, 이러한 소망을 통하여 보다 높은 이상적인 것에 대한 욕구를 갖게 된다. 이 욕구는 결혼이라는 인생의 과도기적 상황에 있는 본인에게 삶의 태도와 역할, 목적에 대한 질문을 던져 주었으며 그것이 본인의 의식을 자극하여 작품 제작의 동기가 되었다. 위와 같은 동기를 배경으로 하여 인간들이 가지는 일반적인 욕구의 종류에 대해 기본적 욕구, 사회적 욕구, 심리적 욕구의 세 가지로 나누어 고찰해 보았으며 결혼을 통하여 부여된 역할과 새로운 환경변화에 능동적으로 대처하고자 하는 본인의 심리적 욕구에 대해 논하였다. 또 이러한 심리적 욕구가 의지의 흐름으로 인해 점점 축약되어가는 과정을 조형적으로 설명함과 동시?? 작품에서 대표적으로 느낄 수 있는 동적이미지 대하여 알아보고, 마지막으로는 본인의 작품을 개별적으로 분석하였다. 결국 본 논문은 현실세계 안에서 본인의 욕구로 발생되는 것을 충족하기 위하여 노력하고 성숙된 인생관을 확립하여 보다 나은 삶을 추구하고자하는 자아의 의지를 확고히 하는데 그 의의를 두고자 한다.|In this thesis I analyze the content and plasticity of the engraving, which I have presented in 2001, as well as the motive of its production. Human beings as organisms are continuously haunted in their lives by the desires to do something or to be someone and these desires lead them to the desires for something sublime and ideal. These desires have posed a question to me on the attitude, role and aim of life, who live in a transition stage of life called marriage, which has actually motivated me to produce the work above mentioned. In the light of this motivation I examine the three kinds of general human desires, that is to say, basic desires, social desires and psychological desires, and discuss the psychological desires of myself intending voluntarily to cope with the role attributed by marriage and the new change of environment. I also explain from a plastic point of view the process in which these psychological desires get reduced by the stream of will and look into the dynamic images typically perceived in my work, which I finally analyze singly. After all, it could be said that the meaning of this thesis lies in the consolidation of the will of myself trying to satisfy my desires in the real world and striving to lead a better life by aid of my solid view of life.
