초등학교 컴퓨터 자격증교육 과정에 대한 분석과 효율적인 운영방법 연구

Abstract

현대 정보산업 분야에서는 컴퓨터가 필수화된 도구로서 거의 모든 분야에 사용되고 있으며, 그 범위는 지속적이고, 광범위하게 늘어나고 있다. 현재 초등학교에서는 컴퓨터를 이용하여 자신에게 필요한 정보를 획득하고 활용할 수 있는 교육으로 이루어지고 있는데, 그 중 한 분야를 차지하고 있는 것이 바로 방과후 컴퓨터 특기·적성 교육이다. 특기·적성 교육은 교육시간과 교육 내용의 범위에 큰 제한 없이 운영이 가능하고 학생들의 요구 및 자발적인 참여를 통하여 이루어지는 교육으로서 학생들의 정보소양교육의 측면에서도 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 그러나 자격증 취득을 대비하는 현재의 컴퓨터 특기·적성 교육은 다양한 수준의 학생을 효과적으로 교육할 수 없는 문제를 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 특기·적성 컴퓨터 교육 가운데 가장 큰 관심과 참여율을 보이고 있는 자격증 교육에 대하여, 서울, 경기 지역의 컴퓨터 지도교사와 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로, 자격증 교육 운영과정 중 발생하는 여러가지 문제점을 분석하고, 이러한 문제에 대한 해결책과 효율적인 운영방안을 실태조사를 통하여 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 학생의 수준을 정확히 파악하여 수준에 맞는 자격증 교육과정으로 편성하는 것이다. 둘째, 초등학생 자격증 교육에 알맞는 표준 교재가 선정되어야 하며, 수준별 교육을 위한 맞춤형 교재가 개발되어야 한다. 셋째, 자격증 교육의 활성화를 위하여 지도교사의 노력과 독창적인 수업방식으로 자격증 취득에 도움을 주는 조력자가 되어야 한다. 컴퓨터 특기·적성 교육이 더욱 활성화되고 체계적인 교육으로 자리를 잡기 위해서, 자격증 교육에 대한 문제점과 대안을 제시 했듯이, 수업에 대한 체계적인 교육목표를 명확히 설정하고, 학습자의 수준을 끌어올려주는 지도교사의 책임과 노력이 무엇보다도 크고 중요하다고 본다.|In IT-centric society computers are used in nearly all the parts of everyday life. In elementary schools, 'after-school' computer courses have helped students to access various information. The courses have played important roles on students’ICT education because students can manage learning time in flexible ways, and learning contents also reflect students’ needs and their participation in many ways. However, current after school computer skills aiming the qualification certificates have failed to meet their various needs. This paper analyzes on the cause of the problem relating to qualification test which has met the biggest interests and participation in the computer skill curriculum. This one also suggests efficient ways to manage computer courses for elementary school students. First of all, computer skill curriculum should meet each student’s demand exactly understanding where they are standing. Secondly, the proper text book for elementary school student should be selected and also various level’s text books also should be developed. Thirdly, the teacher should be a helper for a student to get the certificate with creative ways and special works. Most of all, the teacher who set the specific goal of the class and help the student jump has the biggest key on whether 'after-school' computer courses are growing and getting on the right track or not.
