첼로 입문자 교본 연구: 새로 출시된 Helga Winold의 를 중점으로 연구

Abstract: <논 문 개 요>
본 논문은 한국에서 아직 출간되지 않은 새로운 첼로 교본인 헬가 위놀드(Helga Winold)의교본과 현재까지 첼로 지도자들이 첼로 입문자들에게 대중적으로 사용하고 있는 신이치 스즈키(Shinichi Suzuki), 의 (스즈키 첼로 교본)과 사무엘 아플레바움(Samuel Applebaum)의 (스트링 빌더 첼로 교본)을 비교하였다.
먼저 헬가 위놀드는 현존하는 인물로서 지금까지도 후학양성에 힘을 쓰고 있는 첼리스트이자 지도자이다. 그녀는 50여년 가까이 학생들을 지도해 오면서 첼로를 배우는 학생들이 기본적으로 습득해야하는 테크닉 연습을 중점으로 연구하고 이를 바탕으로 2011년에 첼로 교본을 집필하였다. 헬가 위놀드는 를 그녀가 운영 하고 있는 인터넷 사이트 ‘https://www.winoldsmusic.com’에서 무료로 다운로드 받아 자료를 누구나 편리하게 볼 수 있도록 만들어 놓았다. 이 교본은 한권으로 되어 있지만 그 안에는 4 Part로 나눠져 있으며, 각 Part당 첼로 연주에 가장 필요한 테크닉을 연습할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.
그에 반하여 1943년에 만들어진 신이치 스즈키의과 1960년대에 제작된 사무엘 아플레바움의두 교본은 기본 테크닉이나 짧은 연습곡 또는 긴 노래들로 이루어져 있으며 바이올린 곡을 중심으로 구성되어졌다. 신이치 스즈키의 은 쉬운 곡으로 시작하여 4권부터는 본격적으로 첼로의 소나타나 콘체르토 등의 악보가 삽입되어 있으며 총 8권으로 이루어져 있다. 사무엘 아플레바움의 는 총 10권으로 이루어져있는데 기본 연습 5권과 심화 학습을 할 수 있는 오케스트라 곡, 이중주 곡 등이 담겨있는 5권으로 구성되어있다.
우리나라에서 과 는 첼로 교본으로 가장 대중적으로 사용하고 있으며 가장 최근에 집필된 헬가 위놀드의 첼로 교본은 아직 한국의 첼로 지도자와 입문자들에게 알려지지 않았다. 하여 본 연구자는 헬가 위놀드의를 중심으로 과 를 비교함으로써 각 첼로 교본의 장점과 단점을 도출하고 첼로입문자들이 실력 향상을 위해 이 교재들을 어떻게 사용하는지 알아보았다.|ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to compare by Helga Winold, a new cello instructing book that is not yet published in Korea, to by Shinichi Suzuki and by Samuel Applebaum, two favorites used by cello instructors for beginners.
Helga Winolde is a cellist and instructor who still trains students. She published based on the study that she has developed from the 50 years of training students and is focused on fundamental techniques for students. Helga Winolde’scan be downloaded for free of charge from the Internet site ‘https://www.winoldsmusic.com/’ run by Helga Winold, making it easy for anyone to view the material. This book is in one book, but it is divided into four parts. Each part is constructed to have most necessary technique practiced.
On the contrary, Shinichi Suzuki's , published in 1943 and Samuel Applebaum's , published in 1960s, are composed of basic techniques, short and long practice pieces centered around violin. Shinichi Suzuki's is consisted of eight volumes. It is the 4th volume that starts to have cello sonata or concerto sheet music. Samuel Applebaum's is composed of ten volumes : five basic exercise books and five deep learning books with orchestral songs and duets.
and are two most widely used instruction books in Korea but the most recent by Helga Winold is not yet known to Korean instructors and practitioners. So it is the writer's intention to compare and to Helga Winold's , identify strengths and shortcomings and how they are used to improve cello beginners' skill.
