체계적인 국악교육을 위한 양악과의 비교학습지도 연구 - 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 -

Abstract

이 연구는 중학교에서의 국악교육에 도움이 되고자 수업에 다양한 방법을 시도함으로써 새로운 지도안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 특히 양악과의 비교학습을 통한 방법으로 학생들에게 국악에 대한 흥미를 유발할 수 있도록 한다. 연구의 방법은, 먼저 문헌들을 통해 학교에서의 음악교육이 본격적으로 실시된 1906년 이후부터 제7차 교육과정에 이르기까지의 한국 음악교육과 국악교육에 대해 좀더 자세히 고찰하였고, 학습지도안의 대상인 중학교 1학년(10학년)과정에 대해 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 체계적인 국악교육을 위한 여러 가지 방법을 포함 하여 크게 세 가지, 각각 3차시로 구성된 학습지도안을 제시하였으며, 지도안의 방법은 양악과의 비슷한 부분들 간의 비교를 통하여 이해와 흥미를 이끌려고 했다는 점에서 특징 점을 갖고 있다. 첫 번째 학습지도안은 동일한 악기분류법에 따라 같은 군에 속하는 국악기와 양악기를 비교, 학습하여 국악기 개념에 대한 이해를 돕기 위한 내용으로 구성하였다. 두 번째 학습지도안은 오선보에 익숙한 학생들에게 이를 이용하여 정간보의 이해를 돕고 이를 바탕으로 정간보에 대한 여러 가지 활용을 내용으로 구성하였다. 세 번째 학습지도안은 제재곡 “너영나영”의 학습, 특히 리듬학습을 바탕으로 하여 이를 변형한 후, 제재곡과는 다른 느낌의 곡 만들기로 구성하였다. 이 연구에서는 중학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 하는 학교에서의 국악교육에 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 하여, 학교 밖에서도 국악에 대한 생활화를 이·끄는데 그 궁극적인 목적을 두고 있는 만큼, 이를 위해 제시된 학습지도안에서는 각각의 영역을 따로 나누지 않고 다양한 활동과 영역의 통합적 지도, 다양한 악곡을 활용하여 실제 학습 현장에서 활용될 수 있도록 방법적인 면을 중심으로 전개하였다. 이 연구를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 국악교육을 할 때에는 기보법에 있어 가로 정간보를 사용하는 등의 개량된 국악요소들을 많이 사용하여 학생들이 쉽게 이해하는데 도움이 되도록 하여 국악에 더욱 익숙해질 수 있도록 한다. 둘째, 음악교육을 행할 때 교사는 악곡의 종류를 성격과 특징에 따라 다양하게 다루어 학생들에게 국악의 다양성에 대해 학습할 수 있는 기회를 부여한다. 셋째, 양악과 국악의 비교학습을 통하여 학교 밖에서도 음악의 생활화가 이루어질 수 있도록 한다. 현재 교과서의 국악비중이 점점 높아지면서 국악교육에 대한 다양한 방법들이 제시되어 실제로 학교에서 행해지고 있다. 후속 연구에서는 국악교육에 대한 구체적이고 다양한 예를 제시할 수 있는 연구들이 활발해지기 바란다.|The purpose of this study is to present a new teaching plan that is attempted variable education activities to help the systematical education of the Korean classical music to the first grade in a middle school. Especially it is caused to drive the comprehension and interest through comparing the Korean classical music and the Western music. At first, it is considered the education of the Korean music and the Korean classical music from 1906, at which the musical education is started in Korea, to 1997, at which the 7-th musical education process is initialized. It is also examined a teaching plan of the musical education process to the first grade in a middle school. The considered materials include variable methods for the systematical education of the Korean classical music. Based on the considered materials, it is proposed a novel teaching plan composed of three steps that has a characteristics to drive the comprehension and interest through comparing the Korean classical music and the Western music and extracting their common characteristics. This study suggests the teaching plan of 3 different kinds. It is consisted the contents that is coaching study about Korean instrument with comparing with Western instrument, "Jung-gan-bo" of Korean music notation comparing with staff notation and creating music through studying of "Nou-young-na-young". In this proposed teaching plan, it is explained the method to be used efficiently in the real education field by using the integrated direction of variable education activities and areas, and exemplifying a piece of music. So, it is achieved the purpose to give students interests of the Korean classical music and to let them enjoy the Korean classical music in a daily life. In the proposed research, it is concluded three following aspects. Firstly, the students must be familiar with the Korean classical music by means of the advanced element of the Korean classical music; for the examples, the education plan to use the horizontal Jung-gan-bo to explain the musical notation. At the second, an instructor gives an opportunity to lean the diversity contained in the Korean classical music. In order to this, an instructor has to deal the musical pieces according th their characteristics in the musical education process. Finally, an instructor has to attend a musical lecture by comparing the Korean classical music with the Western music. So, the students cannot help feeling the good-things of the Korean classical music and they freely and naturally enjoy the Korean classical music in a daily life. Following works will focuss on the detailed and variable example of showing the relation ship between the Korean culture and the Korean classical music.
