징후적 자국에 의한 작품제작 연구 : 본인 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문에서는 본인 작업에서 나타난 어떤 사물과 행위가 존재했음을 드러나게 하는 자국을 통하여 비물질적인 것을 물질화 시키려는 시도에 관하여 설명하고자 한다. 순간 속에서 변화하는 대상을 고정시키고자 하는 행위로 나타난 이 자국은 단순히 정지된 한 순간을 나타내는 것이 아닌 지금까지와는 다른 사건을 일으키는 자국을 말한다. 이 자국들은 현재를 나타내는 지표적 이미지로 특정한 원인으로부터 기인하는 흔적 또는 어떤 물리적 접촉이나 징후성을 갖는 하나의 신호로 볼 수 있다. 징후적 자국으로서 보여?測? 존재론적 신호체계인 자국이 지시하는 대상은 단순히 물질적인 형태뿐만이 아닌 비물질적인 형상을 지칭하는 지시대상으로서 이것은 순간순간 나타났다가 사라지는 붉은 얼룩자국이나 연필자국, 사물의 외형선자국, 몸의 윤곽선들로 그것은 죽음이나 두려움, 사랑, 허무 등을 나타내고 있는 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 지표적 기호로서의 자국에 대해 알아보고 이를 통해 작업한 작가와 본인의 작품과 연계하여 살펴 볼 것이다. 작업의 내용에서는 자국에서 나타날 수 있는 순간이나 우연성(우발성), 부재에 대해 알아보고 시각으로써 뿐만이 아닌 직접 손으로 접촉하고 만지는 것으로써 오는 즐거움과 친밀함으로 이루어진 촉각에 대해서도 언급 하고자 한다. 본인은 본 논문을 통해서 합리적인 사고로만은 세계를 이해할 수 없다는 우리의 인식의 한계를 인정하고 작업을 통해 나타난 자국들이 그 대상을 더 이상 의미적 상징체계가 아닌 설명되어지거나 언어로 표현 될 수 없는 무엇에 대한 것이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 시도는 앞으로 본인의 작업방향에 도움이 될 것으로 본다.|In this thesis, this researcher tries to explain about the trial to try to what is immaterial into material through the mark to make the fact that a certain thing and action which showed in my work existed be revealed. This mark means which showed as the action to try to fix the subject to change in moment means the mark which doesn't show simple one stopped moment and which starts trouble to be different from what has been up to now. Mark to appear in my work may be regarded as the mark to be caused by special cause or a certain physical contact or one signal to have symptom natue as the indicative image to show present. It can be said that the subject that the subject that mark which is existential signal system to be regarded as this symptomatic mark indicates is showing death or dread, love and vanity etc. as the indication subject to designate immaterial form which is not simple material form. It can be said that this belongs to existential phenomenology essentially as red stain to appear and disappear momentarily, or pencil mark, external form line of thing, and outlines of body. In this thesis, this researcher will examine about the mark as this indicative symbol and examine in liaision with the artist who worked and my work through this. In the contents of work, this researcher tries to examine about moment or contingency and absence which may appear in mark and tries to mention the sense of touch to be made with joy and intimacy from contacting and touching with hands directly as well as sight. Through this thesis, this researcher recognizes the limit of our recognition that it is impossible to understand the world only with rational thinking and may say that the subject of marks which appeared through work is what is about something which is not meaningful symbol system any more and which cannot be explained or which cannot be expressed in language. This researcher thinks that this trial will be helpful to my work direction in the future.
