중등학교 음악교사들의 음악수업 내용에 대한 비교 및 평가 = 국악교육과 제 7차 교육과정을 중심으로

Abstract

예술을 체험할 수 있는 인간의 능력을 미적 감수성(Aesthetic Sensibility)이라 하는데, 음악은 음으로 사유하고 감동으로 표현하는 예술이므로, 이러한 인간의 미적 감수성을 길러 주는 것이 예술교육의 모든 프로그램 중에서 가장 핵심적이라고 할 수 있다. 현재의 우리의 중등교육 과정에서 이러한 미적 감수성을 길러주는 역할 특히 그 가운데에서도 음악교육은 음악교사들의 손에 맡겨져 있기에, 그들 교사가 어떠한 자세와 마음가짐으로 교육에 임하고 있으며, 교육과정은 그 내용이 어떠하며, 교육을 진행하여 나가는 교사들을 둘러싼 교육시설 등 주변 교육여건은 어떠한가를 고찰·분석하여 이들 제조건에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이라고 할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 문제의식하에서 현재의 교사양성과정, 제7차 교육과정, 제7차 교육과정에서 강조되어 온 국악교육과정 및 기타 교사들의 직무만족도에 관한 선행연구를 바탕으로 하여, 서울시 강북구·노원구·도봉구·성북구 등의 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 그 내용을 정밀 분석한 후 개선방안을 제시하는 것으로 했다. 설문지는 크게 ① 음악수업과 교사와의 관계 ② 음악교사들의 개인적인 사항들 ③ 국악교육과 음악교육과정 등으로 대별되고 세부적으로는 40여개의 항목이었다. 이러한 설문조사의 실시를 통하여 이르게 된 결론은 첫째, 음악수업을 받는 중등과정의 학생들이 가지게 되는 가치체계는 음악교육의 범위와 질에 관련되어 있다는 점에서 이를 담당하는 음악교사의 전공 및 교사들이 어떠한 자세를 갖고 교육에 임하는가 하는 것이 중요하다. 아울러 주기적으로 교사들의 재교육을 위하여 다양한 연수프로그램을 실시하는 것이 필요하다. 제7차 교육과정에서 강조된 국악교육을 예로 들 때 더더욱 그 중요성은 크다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 교사를 둘러싼 교육환경·교육시설 등이 교사 및 학생들의 교육에 도움이 되도록 운영되어야 한다. 셋째, 다양한 음악활동 및 폭넓은 수업이 이루어지기 위해서는 수업시수의 증가가 필요하며, 음악교육과정의 편찬에 있어서는 현장 교사들의 의견이 많이 반영되어야 한다는 것이다. 끝으로 설문조사를 통하여 제시하는 개선안은 첫째, 음악교과서가 모든 종류의 음악과 모든 시대의 음악을 가창·기악 등으로 나누어 경험할 수 있도록 교과과정이 개편될 필요가 있다. 둘째, 특히 미진하다고 생각되는 우리의 국악에 대한 다양한 교육프로그램 개발 등이 필요하다는 것이다. 이러한 개선방안이 앞으로 반영된다면 우리의 현장 음악교육도 활성화되어 갈 수 있을 것이라고 생각한다.|Human ability to be able to experience art is referred to as aesthetic sensitivity. Then, as music is art to consider with sound and express with impression, it can be said that it is most core-characteristic out of all the programs of art eduction to foster this aesthetic sensitivity of human beings. Role to foster this aesthetic sensitivity in our present middle school course, especially, music out of it is entrusted to music teachers. So, it can be said that it is very important to consider and analyze with any attitude and mental attitude the teachers are facing education, how the contents of curriculum is, and how surrounding given conditions of education such as education facilities around teachers to progress education etc. is and present the improvement scheme for all these conditions. In this thesis, this researcher presented improvement scheme after executing questionnaire on teachers at Kangbook-gu, Nowon-gu, Dobong-gu, and Sungbook-gu etc. in Seoul on the basis of preceding study on the present teacher-training-course, the 7th curriculum, Korean music curriculum which has been emphasized in the 7th curriculum, and the satisfaction degree of duty of other teachers under this critical mind and analyzing the contents precisely. Questionnaire is classified into 1. relation between music lesson and teachers, 2. individual facts of music teachers, and 3. Korean music and music curriculum etc. roughly, and there were 40 items or so. in detail. Conclusion drawn through the execution of this questionnaire is as follows: The majors of music teachers to take charge of music and the attitude of teachers to face education are important in that value system that students in the course of middle school who receive education for music get to have has relation with the range and quality of music education. In addition, it is necessary to execute diverse training programs for the cyclical reeducation of teachers. It can be said that the importance is great all the more in taking Korean music education which was emphasized in the 7th curriculum as an example. Second, management should be made, so that education environment and education facilities etc. around teachers may be helpful to the education of teachers and students. Third, the increase of number of times of lesson is necessary for the achievement of diverse music activities and wide lesson, and the opinion of on-the-spot teachers should be reflected much in the compilation of music curriculum. Improvement schemes that this researcher presents through questionnaire are as follows: First, it is necessary to reorganize curriculum, so that students may experience all sorts of musics and the music in all the periods by classifying into singing and instrumental music etc. through music textbooks. Second, it is said that the development of diverse education programs for our Korean music which is considered incomplete is necessary. This researcher thinks that the future reflection of this improvement scheme will be able to activate our on-the-spot music education.
