朝鮮後期 女性人物傳 硏究

Abstract

本 硏究는 時代와 作家 그리고 女性人物간의 緊密한 관계를 바탕으로 朝鮮後期에 비르러서야 獨自的인 文學으로 거듭난 女性人物傳의 考察을 통해) 文學史的 意義를 究明하고자 한 것이다. 이에 筆者는 그동말 여성인물로서 烈女만의 주목에서 進一步하여 조선후기에 비르기까지 發展的 變貌의 과정을 通過하띠 女性人物傳이 誕生하였을 것이란 假說에서 출발하였으며 나아가 조선후기의 時代相과 女性像까지도 眺望하였다. 조선후기 女性人物傳이란 조선후기의 새롭고 다양한 여성인물을 立傳하여작품화한 女性人物의 傳記이다. 男城作家의 女性人物傳을 主연구대상으로하고 조선후기 가운데서도 17세기 후반(1650년대 이후)~18세기 전반(1750년)까지를 연구대상의 시대범위로 한정하여, 假傳 작품과 合傳 작품의 남성인물은 除外한다는 원칙을 적용하여 종 49名 작가의 70篇의 작품을選定하였다. 연구대상 작품은 여성인물 形象을 중심으로 당시 여성과 不可分의 관계에 었었던 理念과 現實을 기준으로 類型化하여 考察하였으며, 연구대상 작가는 여성인물의 立傳을 중심으로 당시 여성을 어떠한 視甬으로照明하고 意識하고 었었는지 論贊을 기준으로 類型化하띠 考察하였다. 우선 女性人物傳의 槪念과 形咸, 그리고 展開 및 發展에 대해서 살펴본바,女性人物展은 傳→人物傳→女性人物傳의 순서로 派生되어 形咸되었고, 人物展의 史的 脈絡 안에서 烈女傳을 始初로 하여 雇開되다가 조선후기를 맞이하여 發展할 수 었었던 文學이었다. 다음으로 女性人物傳의 作品世昇에 대해서 살피본 바, ① 烈女傳에서는烈行의 典型을 만들며 夫死를 자신의 죽음과 동일시하는 徠死 烈女와,烈行의 典型에서 離脫하여 새로운 烈行으로 자신의 삶을 통해 烈을 실천하는 守節 烈女로 크게 兩分된 가운데 他者의 視角에 의해 理汾化되고 의미 있게 形象化된 香娘이라는 여성인물을 보았다. ② 忠孝傳에서는 男性의 영역에머물던 忠이념을 강인한 意志와 召明意識으로서 실천한 여성인물과, 남성의孝行과 여성 烈行의 바탕에 비중을 두었던 孝이념을 獨立的비며 積極的으로실천한 여성인물을 보았다. ③ 이外의 조선후기 女性人物傳에서는 이념적사고에서 獨特한 행동을 보인 여성인물과 이념적 사고와 無關하게 非丹한행동을 보인 여성인물을 보았다. 마지막으로 女性人物傳의 立傳意識에 대해서 살피본 바, ① 여성의 烈行을 讚美함으로서 內面에서부터 烈이 發現되어야 하고, 比較 對象을 거론함으로서 日常에서의 행위가 規範에 맞을 것을 言奈하여 傳綜理念을 鼓吹하였다. ② 이러한 이념의 강조로 빛어지던 문제점들을 目堵하고 典型的인 烈女傳의 內容과 形式을 빌려와, 烈行의 典型이 된 徠死의 현실과家父長에게拘束된 여성의 현실에 대해 枇判意識을 內在하였다. ③ 비와는 달리 이전에는 볼 수 없었던 獨特한 모습에서 勇氣와 積極性을 포착하고, 이념적 시각망에 포획되지 않았던 非丹한 모습에서 能力과 主體性을 포착하여 새로운人物形象으로 意味賦與를 하였다. 지금까지 女性人物傳의 形性 및 雇開를 考察하며 傳史的 脈絡을 알 수 있었고, 女性人物傳의 作品世昇를 考察하며 여성인물의 형상을 볼 수 었었으며, 女性人物傳의 立傳意識을 考察하며 작가의 목소리를 들을 수 었었다. 歷史的 文學的 諸般 조건의 변화로 성립된 조선후기 女性人物傳은 다양한 視角에서 각가지 色彩를 가미하띠 創出된 새롭고 獨自的인 문학이라는 傳史的意義와 더불어, 公認性과 歷史性을 具有하는 傳의 앙식적 특성에 緣由하여朝膳後期的 面貌를 보이는 女性을 주목한 餘他의漢文學과 다른 女性人物傳만의 意味가 었었다. 이상으로 조선후기 女性人物傳의 文學史的 意義가 究明되었다고 생각한다. 그리나 본고의 연구대상으로 삼은 女性人物傳 全般의 세밀한 검토와 女性人物傳에 입전된 여성인물과 관련하여 實存 與否 및 關聯 資料와의 검토그리고 女性人物傳을 창작한 작가와 관련하여 生涯성 및 思想, 政治的 · 學問的 性向의 고찰, 이와 더불어 필자가 선정한 시대댐위 外에서 産出된 女性人物傳과의 北較 ·考察이 이루어질 때 비로소 女性人物傳의 獨自性과 意義가 확연히 드리날 것으로 생각된다|This study is to try to examine the meaning of the meaning of the literature history closely through the study of biography of female figure. So, this researcher examined diverse female figure at the latter period of Chosun by making a step forward from the attention of only virtuous women and viewed period image and women image at the latter period of Chosun. Biography of female figure at the latter period of Chosun is the biography of female figures which was made into work by making the new and diverse female figures at the latter period of Chosun into biography. The work of study subject of this thesis was made into type and studied centering around the form of female figure and centering around making female figure into biogphy about the artist of study subject. . First, according to what examined about the concept, formation and unfolding and development of biography of female figure, it develop-ed by meeting the latter period of Chosun, while it derives, is formed and unfolded in the order of biography -) figure biography -) biography of female figure. Next, according to what examined about work world, in the biography of virtuous woman, virtuous woman of self-immolation on the death of a person, virtuous woman to defend chastity, and female figure to be Hyangrang were seen. In the bio-graphy of loyalty and filial piety, female figure who practised loyalty idea as royal summon consciousness and female figure who practised filial piety idea positively were seen. In addition to this, female figure who showed special action in ideal thinking and female figure who showed extraordinary action regardless of ideal thinking were seen. Lastly, according to what examined the consciousness making into biography, it inspired to internalize virtuous idea by praising the virtuous action of female and to make idea into daily life by com-menting on comparison subject. In addition, it included the criticism consciousness for the actuality of self-immolation on the death of a person which became the model of virtuous action and for the actuality of women who were restricted by patriarch. Unlike this, it gave meaning as new figure forms by catching courage and posi-tive nature from the women who did special action and catching abil-ity and subjectivity from they's action .Biography of female figure at the latter period of Chosun has the meaning of only the biography of female figure which is different from other Chinese writing science which took notice of females who show the aspect of latter period of Chosun by originating in the sty-listic feature of biography with the biographic meaning to be new and independent literature created by adding all sorts of colors from diverse viewpoints. It is deemed that the meaning of literature history of the biography of female figure at the latter period of Chosun was examined closely with above. But, it is deemed that the originality and meaning of biography of female figure will be revealed definitely for the first time.
