조각보의 이미지를 통한 色彩와 造形性 연구 : 本人의 作品을 中心으로

Abstract

영문초록: p. xxxⅶ-xxxⅷ|오늘날 현대예술은 급변하는 사회와 물질만능주의를 반영하듯 다양한 매체와 재료로 무한한 기대와 가능성을 내포하지만 형식적인 것과 표현기법, 매체에만 치우쳐 전통이라는 본질을 등한시하고 있다. 이 시점에서 전통에 대한 올바른 자각(自覺)과 선별적 수용이야말로 서구문명이 무분별하게 남용하는 지금의 현실에서 절실히 필요하다. 현대에 살아가고 있는 우리는 무조건적인 과거에 대한 답습(踏襲)이나 고정되어 있는 형식과 틀의 사용이 아닌 과거의 바탕을 기초로 하여 미래로 발전시켜 나가는데 그 의미를 두어야 하는 것이다. 따라서 전통을 무조건 배척하는 것이 아니라 참된 이해와 재해석으로 현대적인 미감으로 조화롭게 발전시키도록 하였다. 이러한 의미에서 자연주의사상(自然主義思想)을 바탕으로 하여 자연스럽고 작위적이지 않은, 화려하면서도 소박한 미적 감각을 자랑하는 전통 보자기들 중 조각보를 매개로 하여 회화에서의 새로운 가능성을 발견하고자 한 것이다. 이에 본인은 현 시대적인 특성에 맞는 회화작품을 제작해 봄으로써 새로운 가능성과 앞으로의 작품방향을 모색(摸索)해보고자 한다. 본문에서는 작품제작의 바탕이 된 한국인의 미의식인 자연주의사상과 보자기의 의미와 발달배경을 연구하고 조각보의 색채와 조형성으로 나누어서 분석하고, 또한 조각보에서 영향을 받은 색채와 조형적 이미지를 주관적 경험과 내면적 감성으로 표현하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 전통 보자기 채색의 세계와 조형감각을 재해석함으로써 한국적 이미지의 새로운 작업의 발판으로 삼고자 한다.|Today, modern art implies infinite expectation and possibility by various medium and material, as reflect material omnipotence remark with society which change rapidly, but is forgetting essence of tradition because lean to formal thing and expression techniques, medium. Right self-consciousness and critical accommodation about tradition are required urgently in present actuality that Western civilization overissues impolitical at this visual point. As is such, we who is living at present age, must put the meaning to develop by the future based on past bout which following about outright past or use of fixed form and formula are not. Therefore, must develop sensationally harmoniously with modern sense of beauty by faithful interests and reanalysis not that keep out tradition unconditionally. Tradition small wrapping cloth prides aesthetic sense that is natural and is not artificial because do with Naturalism Phenomenon that is traditional esthetic sense, and pure as is splendid. Because do odd pieces of cloth(Jogakbo) of tradition small wrapping cloth by intermediary in these meaning, I wish to find new possibility in Painting. I try to grope new possibility and forward work direction producing correct Painting work in special quality of present age hereupon. Wish to study and divide by color and color of Jogakbo next and analyze about Naturalism Phenomenon and meaning of small wrapping cloth and history that is Korean's aesthetic sense which get into nature of work manufacture is TEXT. Also, in Jogakbo effect depending upon modern sight of done color and modeling image expressed various technique and modeling consciousness in language of the inside world express with to. Wish to do and reinterpret make by step of new work of Korean image analyzing the world of tradition coloring and modeling sense with THIS.
