점을 통한 생명 순환의 이미지 연구

Abstract

세상은 계속 움직이고 변화한다. 자연도 변화하고 그 속의 인간도 쉬지 않고 자신의 모습을 바꾸어 간다. 자연과 인간의 생명은 대자연 전체와 함께 움직이며, 스스로 생성과 소멸의 순환과정을 거친다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 생명의 순환성을 표현하기위한 방법을 연구하였다. 생명체란 우주자체의 거대한 유기체 속에 포함되어 있는 부분인 동시에 전체의 속성들을 모두 가지고 있으며, 그 속성을 생성과 소멸이라 파악하였다. 생명체의 속성을 생성과 소멸이 끝없이 반복되어지는 본인 머리속 에 존재하는 생명의 이미지를 우주현상에서 찾아오며, 자연계에서 점은 가능성이 충만한, 그 자체로서 생명력을 가지고 있는 점이라는 조형요소로 순환성을 표현하였다. 자연의 형태들은 실제로는 조그만 공간체이며, 크거나 작거나 간에 결국 이것은 점으로 창조된 것이다. 가장 작고 자체 내에 폐쇄된, 순수하게 원심적인 형상들, 그 모습은 사실 우리 육안으로 볼 때는 느슨한 관계에 놓여 있는 점으로 보인다. 영원할 것 같은 별도 때가 되면 폭발하면서 최후를 맞는 것이다. 하지만 여기가 끝이 아니다. 폭발 후 남은 잔해들은 중성자별이나 블랙홀이 되기도 하고, 광범위하게 퍼져나간 가스들은 새로운 별의 원천이 된다. ‘끝이 또 다른 시작’이란 진리는 광활한 우주에서도 그대로 적용된다. 본인은 별의 폭발 후 잔해들에서 새로운 별이 탄생되는데 직접적인 영향을 준다는 것에 주목 하였고, 그러한 순환이미지를 반복되는 점, 별자리를 연결해주는 선으로 별의 폭발과 [숨은설명:시작]

[숨은설명:끝] 탄생, 별자리, 블랙홀 등 여러 가지 우주 현상들을 점으로 표현한 본인의 작품을 설명하였다. 고대의 별그림에서도 점으로 별을 나타냈다. 4차원적 우주를 평면에 나타남에 있어 점이라는 조형요소에 여러 가지 의미를 담아볼 수 있었으며, 선인들이 하늘에 대한 믿음에서 표현되어진 옛 별그림을 볼 수 있는 무덤의 벽화, 고인돌, 천문도등 에서 본인이 추구해 가야할 방향을 잡을 수 있게 되는 계기가 되었다.|The world continues to move and change. Nature also changes and man in it also continues to change his own shape. The lives of nature and man experience the circulatory process of generation and extinction by themselves moving together with the whole nature. A living thing is a part included in the gigantic organism of the universe itself and simultaneously has all its whole attributes, which are understood as generation and extinction. I explored the identity of reality by interpreting it as the phenomenal image that generation and extinction, the attributes of a living thing, are endlessly repeated. Natural forms which are small spaces in reality were created with dots regardless of their sizes. That is, they are a complex of geometric dots floating in geometric infinity in their own ways in various regular shapes. Purely centrifugal forms which are smallest and closed in themselves look dots in a loose relation when we see them with the naked eye in defenseless condition. However, they have fertility resting potentially in their insides. Also in the natural world, a dot with full possibility essentially regresses to itself. A star as if to be eternal also comes to an end in explosion getting fully bulky in due time. But it does not finish completely. The remains after its explosion become either a neutron star or a black hole. Gases spread extensively become the source of a new star. The truth of 'An end is another beginning' is also applied as it is to the vast universe. I applied vital circularity to what directly affects the birth of a new star from the remains. I accepted into painting space the various cosmic phenomena such as explosion and birth of a star, a constellation, a black hole and so on with repeated dots for the image and with lines of connecting constellations with each other. Methodologically, I formed the aesthetic relationship among concentration, attention, and rhythm by putting all sorts of dots with a thin brush from acrylic paints to which tones are added in order to fantastically express the image of cosmic space, and studied the method of having the movement of generation and extinction felt by producing infinite space by painting a ground in Chinese ink. However, the most difficult problem was to harmonize the cold feeling from the material of acrylic with Oriental warm atmosphere of Chinese drawing paper. Therefore, I had many difficulties in expressing vital image, various cosmic phenomena, and unreal forms, which were in my brain. I think that they are a pending question for this researcher to have to settle in the future.
