전자상거래를 위한 XML/EDI 시스템 설계 및 구현

Abstract

인터넷과 웹의 발전은 쇼핑몰 형태의 기업과 개인간 거래를 비롯하여 기업과 기업간의 거래에도 상품이나 서비스를 웹상에서 구매하고 판매하는 전자상거래를 필수사항으로 여겨지게 하고있다. 기업과 기업간의 전자상거래는 기업간 거래를 위하여 이기종간의 데이터 교환뿐만 아니라 다양한 응용 어플리케이션과의 연동이 필수적이다. 기업간 거래에 있어서 가장 기본이 되는 EDI 는 그동안 EDIFACT, X.12와 같은 표준을 이용하여 이루어져 왔지만, 확장성과 유연성이 떨어지고 개발 및 유지, 보수에 많은 비용을 요구하기 때문에 일반 증·소기업들까지 사용하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 반면에, 인터넷과 웹이라는 누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 수단과 의미정보를 부가할 수 있는 XML 이 등장하면서 이를 EDI 에 적용하여 확장성과 유연성을 높이기 위한 XML/EDI방식이 관심을 일으키며 전자지불과 거래당사자간의 인증과 전송정보에 대한 보안과 암호화를 비롯하여 XML 을 기반으로 한 전자상거래 전반사항에 대한 표준화가 국제 EDI 를 추진하던 UN/CEFACT 와 OASIS 를 중심으로 진행중에 있다. XML 기반의 전자상거래에 관한 세부표준화가 진행중인 상태에서 본 논문에서는 일반적인 전자상거래 시스템 구축에 관한 연구에 앞서 XML을 이용한 EDI문서 설계와 XSL을 이용한 문서 처리 기술, 레거시(legacy) 시스템과의 연동, 보안 및 인증, 전자지불 기술의 적용사례를 예로 전자상거래를 위한 XML/EDI시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논하고자 한다.|With the advance of Internet and WWW, the E-Commerce plays an important role not only in B2C(Business-to-Customer) but also in B2B(Business-to-Business). It is necessary that B2B commerce use the variety of applications as well as the EDI. The EDI, the basic of the B2B, has utilized the standards like EDIFACT, X.12, etc. But because the EDI was not good at extensibility and flexibility of the program and needed so much money for developing, keeping and repairing itself, so it was difficult for small and middle companies to use the EDI. Meanwhile, with the advance of XML which can define its structure and meaning, XML/EDI is interested in the areas of electronic payment, digital signature, and the security of trading information. The standardization of E-Commerce based on the XML is progressed under the sponsorship of OASIS and UN/CEFACT who have researched the International EDI. Under these circumstances, this study suggests how to design and implement the XML/EDI system for the E-Commerce by taking the examples of EDI document design and process skills which apply XSL, the merits of employing XSL lie in the application programming effort less and in its seamless integration with XML, connection with legacy system, security of trading information, and electronic payment.
