雜像의 이미지를 應用한 陶磁 照明燈 硏究

Abstract

건물을 짓고 잡상(雜像)을 얹지 않으면 '어처구니 없다'라고 표현한 옛 말의 유래에서와 같이, 잡상은 옛 건물 구실의 有無에 있어 실제적 가치를 지닌 상징적 조형물로서의 의미를 지닌다. 급속하게 서구화로 줄달음치는 우리의 현실에서 전통문화와 그 정신이 갈수록 퇴색되어 가고 있다. 또한 이로 인한 풍조 속에 한국 전통문화 및 그 정신에 새로운 자각과 반성이 요구되어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소외되어 가는 전통소재에 관심을 갖고, 특히 건축미술 속에서 쉽게 간과될 수 있는 잡상의 존재와 의미를 상기시키고자 하였으며, 이를 현대의 정서와 미감에 부합할 수 있도록 재해석, 생활 속에 구현하고자 하였다. 또한 조명등을 제작함으로써 단순히 조명의 역할이 아닌, 새로운 공간으로서의 확장적 개념과 가치를 부여하고, 획일화 되어가는 현대인의 삶에 활력과 정서적 감성의 욕구를 충족시켜 주고자 하였다. 제작방법으로는 잡상이 가지고 있는 형태적 특징을 인식하고 단순화하거나 과장하여 해학적으로 표현하였으며, 인위적인 요소가 아닌 자연스러운 질감의 표현으로 독특한 곡률과의 조화를 이루고자 하였다. 또한 조명등의 빛이 투영되었을 때 잡상의 상징적 의미를 더욱 강조해보고자 하였으며, 형태별·설치방법에 따라 분류하여 실외에서도 사용할 수 있는 환경조형으로서의 연계성을 제시하고자 하였다. 잡상의 고졸(古拙)하고도 자연스러운 형태를 유도하고자 점토의 원형을 이용한 석고틀을 제작하였으며, 태토는 자기질 점토를 가압 혹은 이장주입하였다. 850℃에서 1차 소성한 후 투명유와 안료를 사용하여 1255℃에서 2차 소성하였다. 소외된 예술이 아닌 실생활 속에 향유할 수 있는 용도로 단절된 우리 문화의 전통을 이어가고자 하였으며, 온고지신의 정신에 입각하여 오늘의 현실에 맞는 새로운 창조적 가치를 재현하고 전통의 참다운 의미를 찾고자 하였다.|Jab-Sang image has the meaning as symbolical molding material to have real value in the existence or non-existence of old building role, as is in the origin of old word which expressed, it is absurd not to make Jab-Sang image after building. In our actuality to rush into globalization rapidly, traditional culture and the spirit are fading and being forgotten day by day. In addition, in the climate to be caused by it, new awakening and reflection for Korean traditional culture and the spirit are being required. So, in this study, this researcher tried to remind one of the existence and meaning of Jab-Sang image which may be overlooked easily in the fine art of construction particularly, with the interest for traditional material to be alienated, and tried to realize it in life by reinterpreting it, so that it may correspond with modern emotion and aesthetic sense. Besides, this researcher tried to give the value of expansive function as new space which doesn't stay at the role of illumination simply and satisfy the vigor and the desire of emotional sensitivity for the life of moderns which becomes uniform, by manufacturing lighting. As for manufacture method, this researcher expressed the formal feature that Jab-Sang image has humorously by recognizing and simplifying or exaggerating it and tried to harmonize with special curvature with the expression of natural texture which is not artificial element. Besides, this researcher tried to reveal the mysteriousness when light is projected with subjective sensitivity and tried to discover the connection nature as environment molding to be able to be used outdoors also by classifying it by forms and in accordance with installation methods. In manufacturing plaster frame to use the prototype of soil, this researcher led high and natural form and pressurized and infused slip with china clay as base soil. This researcher fired secondarily at 1255℃ by using transparent glaze and pigment after fired primarily at 850℃. This researcher tried to follow the tradition of severed our culture with the use to be able to be enjoyed in real life which is not alienated art, and tried to reproduce new creative value to be suitable for the actuality of today and find the real meaning of tradition on the basis of the spirit taking a lesson form the past.
