작품 「사이」의 공간해석에 관한 조형성 연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

예술의 관심의 대상은 인간이 사물의 중심이었던 과거의 예술적 성향에서 벗어나 현대미술의 다양한 조형양식이 새롭게 등장하면서 사물의 본성 그 자체만으로 구성되는 리얼리티를 추구하려는 시도를 하게 되었다. 이에 따라 이러한 현상을 존재하게 해주는 가장 최소한의 요소만으로 예술세계를 구성하려는 조형관이 형성되었다. 이러한 리얼리티를 찾으려는 노력은 실제로 체험하는 공간(real space)을 하나의 예술세계로 유도하여 공간이라는 화두를 현대미술에서의 중요한 주제로 부각시켰다. 조각에서도 현대적 소재에 대한 표현양식의 변화와 새로운 재료의 등장으로 공간개념이 크게 달라져왔다. 조각은 공간에 또 하나의 새로운 공간을 창조해 낼 수 있는 독자적인 예술영역으로 조각가에게 있어서 공간은 깊은 관심의 대상이 되었다. 본인은 나무 물체에 본인에 의해 의도되어진 공간이 서로 소통하여 이루어지는 관계성을 통하여 그 속의 보이지 않았던 사유의 공간이 존재하도록 유도하고, 물체와 공간 사이의 관계를 연구해 보고자 한다. 본 논문은 다음과 같이 3장으로 구성되었다. 제 1 장 서론에서는 공간개념의 의미를 찾고 공간성을 통해 조형화를 연구한 내용과 연구 방법 및 범위를 제시하였다. 제 2 장 본론에서는 본인의 작업의 이론적 배경을 설명하고 공간의 개념과 사이공간의 의미를 통하여 형태와 작품을 분석하였다. 제 3 장 결론에서는 본 논문의 내용과 작품을 개괄적으로 정리하고, 이 후 본인 작업의 나아갈 방향과 가능성을 제시하였다.|As the variable plastic mode of the modern art comes, the concern of the art has moved from the past inclination focusing on a human being and the art has been tried to seek true reality to be composed of only the real nature of thing, itself. In accordance with this, art developed the new plastic art viewpoint to try to constitute art world only with the most minimum element to enable one phenomenon to exist. Effort to try to find this reality embossed the topic to be space as the important subject of modern fine art, presenting the real space as on art world. As the change in the style of the expression about the modern subject matter and new material appear, the concept of the space has changed a great deal. As sculpture is the original domain to create one new space in space, space in sculptor has been regarded as deep concern as the product of will to try to do plastic art. This researcher would like to induce the unknown space of the speculation through the relationship between wood and the intended space and make study on the relationship between the material and space. This thesis is composed of 3 chapters totally. In the introduction of chapter 1, this researcher presented about the form of the study, the scope as well as content with the concept of the space. In the main discourse of chapter 2, this researcher depicted the process, manipulation and the basis of formation in the category of my works and explained the concept of the space and the meaning of between space. In conclusion of chapter 3, this researcher arranged the contents and work this thesis generally and presented the direction that my work will have to advance and the possibility after that.
