작품 「공존」에 관한 조형성 연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2003년에 제작한 작품 「공존」을 중심으로 작품에 나타난 내용적 측면과 조형적인 측면을 분석하고, 그 조형성을 연구한 것이다. 고도로 발달된 현대 문명은 인간 소외, 환경 파괴 등 많은 문제점들을 드러낸다. 이는 근본적으로 자연과 타자를 공존의 대상보다는 지배와 억압의 대상으로 여겨온 서구의 근대 사상에서 비롯된 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 동양적 사상을 통해 공존의 이론적 근거를 발견하고자 하였고, 작품 「공존」을 통해 하나의 유기체로 공존하는 동양적 관점에서 바라본 우주를 표현하고자 하였다. 우주를 상징하는 원은 그 본질을 담지하고 있으면서도 기하학적으로 변형하여 표현하였고, 음과 양의 공존을 상징적으로 형상화하였다. 본 논문은 총 3장으로 구성되어 있다. 제 1 장 서론에서는 제작 동기와 작품의 연구목적 및 연구내용과 방법을 밝혔다. 제 2 장 본론에서는 작품 내용의 중심이 되는 음과 양의 조화와 공존을 동양적 우주론에 입각하여 그 이론적 근거를 살펴보았고, 이를 바탕으로 조형화된 작품의 표현 방법을 밝혔다. 작품 분석에서는 제작기법, 표현재료, 제작 의도 등을 통해 구체적으로 작품 「공존」의 조형적 특성을 밝혔다. 제 3 장 결론에서는 본 논문의 내용과 작품을 개괄적으로 정리하고, 본인의 작품 세계를 정리해 봄으로써 향후 본인 작업에 대한 방향을 모색해 보았다.|This thesis is what this researcher studied and analyzed the contents side and plastic side which appeared in work on my work manufactured in 2003. I expressed the interdependency of negative and positive with symbolical image on the basis of Oriental cosmology about the form circle. That is, this researcher tried to show that all the things of universe are being divided dichotomically but they coexist as one organism. Thus, this researcher tried to express that all the things such as men and women, life and death, ＆ sky and land etc. are with bisected structure and co-exist through mutual harmony. This thesis is composed of 3 chapters totally. In the introduction of chapter 1, this researcher clarified the manufacture motive, and the study goal, study contents, and method of work. In the main discourse of chapter 2, this researcher this researcher tried to find theoretical base about the harmony and co-existence of negative and positive which are the basic vein of work contents on the basis of Oriental cosmology. This researcher clarified the expression method of work which was made into molding on the basis of it. In the analysis of work, this researcher analyzed maufacture technique, expression material, and manufacture intention etc. In the conclusion of chapter 3, this researcher groped for the direction for my future work by arranging the contents and work of this thesis roughly and my work world.
