자연 이미지를 통한 심상표현 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 자연이미지를 표현한 본인 작품속의 내적심상에 관한 연구 논문으로서 사회 속 인간과 자연, 자연과 예술, 그리고 완성되어진 작품 속 자연이미지의 상징성과 본인과의 관계에 대한 연구과정으로 구성 하였다. 오늘날 인간의 삶은 사회 속에서 그들의 개성은 무시된체 기능화 되어가며 점차 그들 서로가 자신을 소외시키고 있다. 이러한 사회적 배경이 나타나기 이전의 원초적인 인간과 자연과의 상호연계성，인간과의 심리적 관계로서 자연 그리고 나무, 숲, 산, 바람 등이 우리에게 어떻게 심리적인 미(美)적 요소로 다가와 예술적으로 탄생되었는지에 관하여 알아보며 작품이 어떠한 근본적 이유에서부터 파생되었는지 연구해보았다. 인간은 자연과 늘 상호성을 가지며 자연 속에서 신비함과 질서, 조화를 체험해보며 미(美)적인 요소를 느끼게 된다. 본인은 그 자연에서 받은 감동을 자연물들의 이미지를 차용하여 내적 심상이 표현된 회화로 발전시켰다. 여기서 이미지란 그 대상을 똑같이 재현하는 것이 아니라 그것의 외적인 형상 더 나아가서 개개인의 체험을 바탕으로 개성적으로 드러낸다는 것으로서 사회로부터 받은 감정을 자연 속에서 풀어나가며 그 속에서 얻은 감동의 이미지들을 본인만의 감정으로 재창조하여 형상화 하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 오늘날 사회배경 속에서 본인이 겪은 일상체험들과 자연이 어떠한 관계에 놓여 있는지에 대하여 고찰하며 완성된 2006년'스치듯 바라보다'석사청구전 작품들을 중심으로 내면적 심상을 표현한 작업세계로 접근하여 분석 하였다.|This paper is a research on internal images found in the author's artworks that are expressed through images of nature, and is organized into men in society and nature, nature and art, and relationship between the symbolism of images of nature within the completed artworks and the author. Nowadays, speaking of men's life within continually developing society, their uniqueness has been ignored and functionalized, and, with it, they gradually alienate themselves and fall into mental oppression. The paper looks into mutual linkage between primitive men and nature, and men's psychological relationship that came before how these societal phenomena happened; further, the paper explores how trees, forests, mountains and winds in nature present themselves to us as psychological, aesthetic elements and how they are created as art; it also examines what fundamental reason can be derived from the author's artworks. Human, which is one life form among many in nature, seeks nature to console one's mind hurt by the society, and reflects on one's selfhood while continuously experiencing inspiration, admiration and comfort within it. Thus, men always possess certain reciprocality with nature, experience mystery, order and harmony within nature, and feel aesthetic elements from it. The author enhanced the feelings inspired by that nature by appropriating images of natural objects to create paintings that express the author's internal images. Here, image doesn't mean an exact recreation of the object but a unique expression that embraces individual experiences which goes beyond mere external shape of the object. In this manner, the author dissipates feelings gained from society in the boundary of nature, and recreates the inspirations and images gained in it with the author's emotions, and ultimately materializes the images of nature. Therefore, the paper seeks to approach author's artistic milieu, which expresses author's internal images, and to analyze and inspect it by focusing on artworks presented in the author's masteral degree exhibition in 2006, 'Gaze as if to Glace Over', which were completed while studying how the author's daily experiences in the social framework today related to the nature.
