일상 속 사물을 통한 내면의 회화표현 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 연구자의 작업 속 주된 주제인 일상에 대한 탐구로 시작한다. 일상 속 사물을 통한 내면회화 연구를 주제로, 2021년 ‘흘러가는 마음들’ 이라는 석사 학위 청구 전시에서 전시한 작품과 2018-2019년의 대학원 작업을 바탕으로 서술되었다. 작업의 시작은 떠나가는 사람들이 도달하는 곳은 어떤 풍경인가에 대해 상상하며 그려내기 시작했는데, 일상에서 채집한 다양한 오브제들과 풍경, 식물을 조합해 하나의 풍경을 만들었고, 현재 채집하는 것 중 다양한 의미를 가지고 있다고 생각되는 것은 사물과 식물이다. 일상 속 평범한 풍경처럼 보이지만, 자세히 보면 평범하지만은 않은 풍경 속 오브제들에서 느끼는 감정을 넣어 일상에서 숨겨진 우울, 외로움, 슬픔, 무감정의 상태 등 각각의 작업에 다양한 내면의 마음을 표현하려고 했다. 평범한 일상 속 발견하는 다양한 사물들과 장면들에 미묘한 감정을 느낄 때가 있다. 연구자는 평범한 일상 속 발견하는 다양한 오브제와 장면들, 반복되는 나날 속에 생기는 미묘한 감정들을 탐구한다. 의미를 담은 사물을 발견했을 때 느꼈던 감정을 떠올리며 사물에 담아 작업한다. 다양한 의미를 가진 채집물을 하나로 모아 이야기가 있는 풍경을 만들어내기도 하고, 큰 주제를 가진 사물은 단독으로 그려내 디테일 하게 표현하려고 했다. 일상에 대한 고민으로 시작해 일상과 사물의 의미, 드러내지 못하는 숨겨진 감정에 대해 탐구해본다. 연구자는 일상에 대한 고찰을 계속하며, 숨겨진 마음 속 감정들을 채집한 사물들로 풀어낸다. 일상 속 잊었던 감정들을 작품 속에서 발견하고, 바라보며 현대인들이 위로와 위안을 받을 수 있을지 계속 연구하고자 한다.| This paper begins with the exploration of daily life, a main subject of researcher's work. With the topic of study on painting the inner world through objects in daily life, this paper is described based on works exhibited in the exhibition for master's degree titled 'minds passing by' in 2021 and works from graduate school from 2018 to 2019. The work was drawn with the imagination on what kind of landscape will be there in the place where waygoing people reach. I created one landscape by combining various objects and plants collected in daily life and worked with objects and plants that were considered to have various meanings among many other collections. It looks like an ordinary landscape in the daily life, but I tried to express various inner minds to each work such as depression, loneliness, sadness and neutral affective state that are hidden in daily life by adding emotions felt by objects in the landscape that are not just ordinary when looking them closely. I sometimes feel subtle emotions from various objects and scenes discovered in ordinary daily life. The researcher explores various objects and scenes discovered in ordinary daily life and subtle emotions appeared in the repeated days. I think of the emotions I felt when discovering objects with meaning to put it on objects. I sometimes create the landscape that have a story by gathering meaningful collections into one or draw object with a major theme alone to express it in detail. I explore the meaning of daily life and objects and hidden emotions that can't be revealed, starting with thoughts on daily life. The researcher continue to consider the daily life to express emotions hidden in mind with collected objects. I want to keep my study to know whether emotions I have forgotten in my daily life can be discovered and modern people looking at it can be consoled and comforted from it.
