인체조각을 통한 내면적 소통에 대한 연구

Abstract

한 시대의 예술은 그 시대가 인간을 어떻게 정의하였는가를 단적으로 보여준다. 예술은 인간의 정신적 활동의 산물로써 인간의 내면세계를 반영하며 내면은 삶을 통해 형성되고 성장하기 때문이다. 또한 예술을 통한 표현 욕구는 인간의 기본적 정신활동이며 원초적 본성이다. 인간은 이러한 예술적 표현을 통해 자신의 내면과 외부와의 소통의 경계를 풀고 자신을 재조명 할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되며 타자와의 공감을 형성하는 장으로 작용한다. 현대의 과학문명으로 인한 산업화는 이 시대의 가치를 물질로 규정하며 인간마저도 사회의 부속품으로 전락시켰다. 이에 사회적 존재로써 인간에게 절실히 요구되는 진실한 소통은 단절되고 고립과 소외로 인한 인간정체성의 위기에 직면하기에 이르렀다. 소통의 단절은 심리적 병리를 동반하며 현대인의 정신적 특성인 공허, 고독, 불안감을 낳았다. 본인은 이 시대를 살아가는 한 인간으로써 개인의 삶으로 다가온 현실의 문제와 심리적 갈등을 작품을 통해 직면하고자 했다. 본인에게 있어서 창작이란 소통의 창이며 내면의 상처를 극복하는 치유제 였다. 본 논문은 2003~2007년 현재까지의 작품을 토대로 작품형성의 정신적 배경과 개별 작품 간의 분석을 내용으로 하여 현재 본인의 작업을 전반적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 이에 서론에서는 본 연구의 방법과 목적에 대해서 언급하고 본론의 1장에서는 인간에게 있어서 소통이 갖는 의미와 현대인의 소통단절로 인한 내면의 위기감을 인체로써 표현하게 된 작품의 정신적 배경을 창작이 갖는 치유의 기능과 함께 세 단락으로 나우어 기술하였다. 2장에서는 작품의 조형적 특성을 이미지 표현과 공간연출의 두 단락으로 나누어 설명하였으며 3장에서는 작품의 내용적, 표현적 분석이 이루어진다. 결론에서는 연구를 통한 결과를 작업에 있어서 새로운 지평의 계기로 제시하였다.|The arts of an age flatly show how that particular age defined human beings. This is because the arts which are the product of mental activities of human beings reflect the inner world of human beings, and the inner side forms and grows through their lives. In addition, the desire for expression through arts is a human basic mental activity and primitive original nature. A human being comes to have an opportunity to release the boundary between his or her inner side and the outside and see himself or herself in new lights through arts, which then act as a venue for fostering a consensus between himself or herself and others. The industrialization, supported by the modern scientific culture, prescribes the value of this age by material and degraded even human beings to an integral part of society. The truthful communication desperately required of human beings as a social existence has come to face the crisis of human identity due to severance, isolation and estrangement. The interruption of communications has been accompanied by psychological pathology, giving birth to the moderners' mental characteristics such as emptiness, solitude and anxiety. The writer attempted to face the issues of the reality drawing near to an individual life of a human being who lives in this age and psychological conflict through works. For the writer, creation is a window of communications and a cure for inner traumas. This thesis attempted to study my current works overall with the mental background of work formation and the analysis between individual works based on the works done between 2003 and 2007 as their substance. Thus, the preface mentioned about the method and purpose of this study and Chapter 1of the main subject described the meaning the communication has for a human being and the mental background of the works that expressed a sense of crisis in the inner side due to the interruption of the moderners' communications with human body along with the curing function in 3 paragraphs. Chapter 2 depicted the formative characteristics of works by dividing them into 2 paragraphs; that is, image expressions and space production and in Chapter 3, a substantial, expressive analysis was made of such works. In the conclusion, the findings of a study were suggested as a momentum for a new horizon.
