인체를 통한 자아의 심상 표현 연구 -본인의 작품을 중심으로-

Abstract

본 논문은 2003년에서 2005년 사이에 제작된 본인의 작품을 대상으로 하여 그 내용적 측면과 조형적 측면에 관해 연구한 것이다. 현대 사회의 개인이 그 사회의 일원으로 살아가면서 겪게 되는 내적 갈등과 불안은 때로는 타인의 가치관에 일치되고자 하는 갈망을 불러일으킨다. 그리고 개인은 일치에의 갈망과 거부 사이에서 고민하며 때때로 그 혼란 속에서 자아를 상실하고 스스로를 소외시키게 된다. 본인은 이러한 상황의 개인의 모습을 작품을 통해 표현하고자 하였다. 먼저 이와 같은 작품 표현에 있어서의 내용적 바탕이 되는 이론적 배경으로써, 사회적 존재로서의 인간이 갖는 타인에 대한 일치에의 갈망과 개별적 존재로서 개인이 갖는 독자성에 대해 논하고자 한다. 또한 현대 사회에서는 이 두 가지가 대립할 수밖에 없으며 그로 인해 개인의 소외가 일어난다는 것을 설명하고자 한다. 이러한 이론적 배경을 인체라는 조형 요소로 표현한 본인의 작품을 다른 작가들의 작품에서의 인체표현과 사회와 개인에 대한 풍자와 비교하여 서술하였다. 표현에 있어서는 신체를 왜곡되게 표현한 본인의 의도와 함께 회화와 부조의 두 가지 양식을 이용함에 따른 효과와 의도 등을 설명하였으며, 끝으로 본인의 작품들을 분석하였다. 본 논문은 개인이 사회 안에서 타인과 자신과의 관계에서 겪게 되는 심리적 갈등과 소외 그리고 표현에 있어서의 조형적 측면에 대해 내용과 의도를 되짚어보고 앞으로의 작품 활동에 있어 도움이 되고자 한다.|This study is to examine the contents and formative aspects of the author's works focused on the works made from 2003 to 2005. Moderns have experienced an internal conflict and anxiety in their lives as a member of community and have an aspiration to make their individual values identify others' values. Each person is worried between aspiration and refusal of the identification, and sometimes, they lose their ego in the confused course leading to be estranged themselves. The author of this study aimed to express an individual's image under this condition in the works. First of all, as a theoretical background in expressing the works, this study is to discuss an identification phenomenon to other people that inheres in people as a social entity and each person's individuality as an independent entity. And, this study is to describe that both of them are conflicted in modern society naturally leading to individuals' estrangement. And, this study was compare the author's works expressing these theoretical backgrounds in human body as a formative element with others' expression of human body and a satire on society and individuals. With respect to expression, the author describes her intention in exaggerated physical expression and effects and purpose of applying picture and embossed carving. Finally, this study was to analyze the author's works. This study was to in order to understand a psychological conflict and estrangement that individuals experience in the relation between others and self in the society as well as formative aspects expressed by human body to review the contents and intention. The author expects this study to be helpful to future works.
