이미지 재구성에 의한 반복효과 연구

Abstract

예술은 작가의 정신적 산물로, 그 본질에 있어 인간 내면세계인 정신적 감수성과 그것을 둘러싼 외적 물질과의 융합이 작품을 통해 투영되는 것이라 볼 수 있다. 작품은 그것이 어떤 형태이든 작가의 주관적 세계관을 탄생시킨 언어이다. 이 언어를 통해 삶에서 제기되는 작가 자신의 의문과 해답을 얻는 과정을 작품 속에 표현하여 사람과 소통의 연결고리가 됨과 동시에 그들에게 나름의 가능성을 찾게 하여 준다. 예술을 통하여 작가는 자신과 삶, 타인과의 관계 등을 표현하고 자기화하며 삶에서 파생되는 여러 체험을 반영한다. 작가가 표현하고자 하는 것은 그 자신의 현실적인 감정 뿐 아니라 그가 인식하는 인간관계에서 나오는 감정 전체에 관한 것이다. 신체 밖에서의 상호의존적으로 존재하는 세계의 모습을 감각적이고도 개성적인 법칙에 따라 흡수하여 이미지로 생산한다. 예술 작품에서 생산의 의미는 시각의 착시에서 시작해 작가의 개성을 통해 표현되어 나타내어진 것을 의미한다. 이러한 시각에 의한 내면으로의 소통이 중요할 때 우리는 반복적인 일상에 쫓겨 근본보다는 형상의 외적 부분에만 끌려가는 시점에 이르렀다. 단절된 상황 속에서 작가는 주관적 소통의 가능성을 삶의 관계들 속에서 얻은 무한한 얘깃거리로 열어둠으로서 다양하고 창의적인 방법으로 본인의 자아관을 탄생시킨다. 본 연구는 이러한 한정된 관계의 시각 속에서 외형적 행위에 의하여 파악하는 1차적인 것에서 연구자의 개성과 감정이 섞인 주관적 잠재의식을 통한 2차적 발전을 거듭해 형상의 재해석으로 표현하였다. 외적세계 속에서 자아와의 교감을 통해 새로운 의미를 포착하여 예술가의 주관적 해석이 드러나는 작품을 제작하는 것은 ‘개성’을 내포한 예술로서의 시작을 제시한다고 본다. 본 연구자는 다양하고도 애매모호한 관계들 속에서 있는 그대로의 객관을 지향하여 형태를 그리지는 않았다. 그저 눈에 비친 인상을 현실에 존재하는 형태가 아닌 본인의 자아와 융합하여 개성이 담긴 형상으로 재탄생을 이뤄 반복(反復) 행위로 표현하였다. 대중적이고 일상적인 것들을 순수예술의 영역으로 끌어들여 끊임없이 복제하고 반복적으로 대상을 간결하게 표현함으로써 존재의 상징의미를 보여주고자 한 것이다. 흔히 접하는 주위의 관계 속에서 작품의 소재를 찾아 본인만의 느낌으로 재해석하여 이미지를 형상화해 반복적으로 작업함으로서 작은 일상에서 또 다른 의미를 찾아, 독특한 세계를 이루어나가는 과정으로 연구하였다.|As an artist's spiritual product, art can be seen as the fusion of the spiritual sensibility as human inner world in its essence and the external matter surrounding it which is projected through a work. In any form, a work is the language which gives birth to an artist's subjective world view. The process of gaining an answer to his or her own question raised in his or her life which is expressed in a work through the language becomes a link for the communication with people and simultaneously allows them to find their own possibilities. Through art, an artist expresses himself or herself and his or her life, the relationship with others and so on, makes them his or her belongings and reflects the various experiences derived from his or her life. He or she wants to express not only his or her own realistic emotion but also the whole emotion from the human relations recognized by him or her. He or she absorbs the world existing interdependently out of the body according to sensuous laws of individuality and produces it into an image. In a work of art, production means a series of processes ranging from an optical illusion through generation into the inside to expression. When it is important to communicate into the inside by vision, we have reached the point of time when we are led only by the external skin of a form rather than its essence pressed with our repetitive daily lives. In a disconnected situation, an artist gives birth to a world view in various and creative ways by opening the possibility of making subjective communication with the unlimited topics of conversation obtained from the relations in his or her own life. In the perspective for the limited relations, this researcher has had primary things which are understood by external acts rediscovered as 'images‘, that is, developed into perfection by repeating secondary development through her internal subjective subconsciousness. The artist producing a work with his or her clear subjective interpretation by catching a new meaning through the sympathy with himself or herself in the external world is seen as his or her beginning with the art including 'individuality'. This researcher did not paint a form oriented toward the object as it was in various and ambiguous relations. Still, she mixed the impression as it appears to her eyes not with the form in reality but with herself, had it born again as a form of containing individuality and expressed it by new harmony in a repeated form. I wanted to show the symbolic meaning of existence by drawing popular and daily things into the domain of pure art and continuing to duplicate them and by expressing objects repeatedly and concisely. Namely, I found by my perspective the individualities of the things obtained from the relations in my daily life and formalized them as the existence only with one image. I repeatedly expressed the image produced and symbolized like it. I studied the internal perspective for a form and the repeated act as conscious expression by a process of achieving a peculiar world by finding the material for a work in the relations with surrounding things contacted commonly by me, reinterpreting it with my own feeling, working on it repeatedly and finding out another meaning for it from a small daily life.
