유기체적 형상을 응용한 금속 가구 디자인 연구 : 구름형상을 응용한 거울 중심으로

Abstract

한 민족의 문화적 정체성을 결정짓?? 요소는 지리적인 위치와 풍토 그리고 자연환경 등의 다양한 요인에 의해 형성된 민족성이라 할 수 있다. 우리 민족은 사계절이 뚜렷한 자연환경과 부드럽고 완만한 노년기의 산의 모양새를 닮아가며, 자연환경의 변화에 순응하며 향유하고, 자연과 동화하려 하는 꾸밈없는 순수한 의지로 문화의 조형적 특성을 형성 발전시켜 왔다. 그러나, 통신과 교통수단의 발달에 의한 빠르게 진행된 서수문물의 전래는 우리에게 생활의 편리함과 물질적 풍요로움을 누릴 수 있게 하였지만, 한편으로 우리 문화적 정서의 고유성 상실을 가져오게 하였다. 즉, 우리의 전통 가옥의 구조와 기능은 자연친화적인 공간에서 서구의 아파트와 같은 기하학적 구조물로 대체되었다. 우리 전통가구 또한 한옥과의 유기적 관계를 유지하며 인위적이지 않은 자연미를 살린 가구가 보편적이었으나, 서구 문화의 영향으로 기능을 우선시 하는 가구로 바뀌게 되었다. 그러나 현 시대의 가구는 산업구조와 생산력의 향상으로 대중화에는 성공하였지만 한편으로는 디자인의 획일화와 단편화를 초래하게 되었다. 이렇게 획일화된 가구와 건축문화는 최근에 와서 단순한 안식처로서의 주거환경에서 탈피하여 개인의 개성표현을 위?? 주거공간으로 재해석되기 시작하였고, 가구도 기능위주의 규격화된 형태에서 벗어나 생활공간과 인간을 연결시켜주는 조형물로서 중요한 위치를 차지하게 되었다. 이러한 시점에서 본 연구는 기하학적 실내구조에 서정적 형상의 거울을 배치하여, 보다 부드럽고 인간적인 심미적 실내공간의 적절한 구성미의 조율을 시도해 보고자하였다. 연구범위는, 거울형상을 디자인함에 있어 유기적형태 중 구름을 주된 모티브로하여 연구진행하였고, 제작방법은 주로 연구자가 추구하는 자연 친화적 질감표현에 적합한 판작업에 의한 성형표현을 연구방법으로 하였다. 제작에 이용된 재료는 전성과 연성이 좋은 적동을 주재료로 사용하였다. 조형 전개에 있어서는 거울의 주된 형태를 구름에 비유하여 주형상인 구름에 연구자의 주관적 감성을 이입하여 하나의 조형물로서의 거울이 될 수 있도록 진행하였다. 즉, 본 연구에 있어서의 구름은 본인의 개인적인 삶에서 느껴졌던 많은 기억의 단편들을 구름의 변화무쌍한 형태에 비유하여, 일상에서 사람들과 나누는 심리적 교감을 의도한 것이다. 이렇게 제작되어진 거울들은 가옥의 기하학적 실내구조에 배경과 형상의 조형적 역할을 부여함으로서 직선적인 실내공간을 보다 부드러운 공간으로 전환하고자 시도함이며, 또한 대중에게 거울로서의 기능적인 편리함을 제공하고, 더불어 실내공간과 대중과의 심미적 교감을 가질 수 있는 물적(object)매개체로서의 역할을 통해 현대인의 일상생활에서의 경직된 정서를 회복 시켜 유연한 심미적 안정감을 찾을 수 있도록 의도하였다.|Element to decide the cultural true character of one race may be referred to as the racial characteristics formed by diverse factors such as geographical position, climite, and nature environment etc. Our race has formed and developed the plastic feature of culture with the nature environment that 4 seasons are clear and the inartificial pure will to resemble the form of soft and slow mountain of senescence, adapt to the change of nature environment and enjoy it, and try to assimilate with nature. But, rapidly progressed introduction of Western civilization which is based on the development of communication and a means of transportation enabled us to enjoy the convenience of life and the material richness, whereas it came to bring the loss of peculiarity of our cultural emotion. That is, the structure and fuction of our traditional house were replaced with the geographical structure like apartment house to be the widely known form in the West in the organic space to be familiar with nature. And also, as for our traditional furniture, furnitures to maintain the organic relation with Korean-style house and give life to the inartificial natural beauty was universal. But, the furniture of present period succeeded in popularization by the improvement of industrial structure and pro-ductivity, but it came to incure the standardization and unification of design. Only since the beginning of the latter of half of 1990, the culture of furniture and construction standardized like this started to be reinterpreted as the dwelling space as the subject of individuality expression of individual by breaking from the dwelling environment as simple shelter and came to occupy the important position as the molding material to link life space and human beings by breaking from the standardized form centering around function. At this point of time, this researcher tried to tune the proper architectonic beauty of more soft and humane aesthetic interior space by arranging the mirror of organic form in stiff geographical interior space in this study. As for the range of study, this researcher progressed study by making cloud of main motive out of organisms in designing mirror form. And, as for manufacture method, this researcher made the molding expression to be based on the monotony technique to be suitable for the texture expression to be familiar with nature that this researcher seeks mainly of study method. As for the material used in manufacture, red copper that malleability and extensibility are good was used as main material. In molding unfolding, this resarcher progressed, so that the mirror as one molding material may be made by importing the subjective sensitivity of researcher in could to be main form through comparing the subjective form of mirror to cloud. That is, the cloud in this study is what intended the psychological mutual response to share with people in everyday affair by comparing the fragments of many memories that I felt in individual life to the changeable form of cloud. Mirrors manufactured like this is the trial to try to convert stiff interior space to more soft space by giving the plastic role of background and form to the geographical interior structure of house. In addition, it was the intention to enable moderns to find soft aesthetic stability by restoring stiff emotion in daily life through the role as the material media to offer the functional convenience as mirror to masses and to be able to have aesthetic mutual response between interior space and masses.
