'욕망'의 상징적 표현으로서의 「門」 연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

인간이 가지는 욕망에 대한 해석은 이를 연구한 철학사상에 따라 상반된 견해를 갖는다. 예를들어 서양의 고전 철학에서는 인간의 행복을 욕망의 억제와 무관심에서 오는 것으로 여겨 이를 비난하거나 거부하였다. 그러나 현대철학은 오히려 삶의 동인(動因)으로서 욕망에 대해 긍정의 가치를 부여한다. 즉, 욕망의 문제는 인간의 삶에서 필요악으로서 존재하는 탐구적 과제라 할 수 있다. 본인의 작품은 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 인간의 욕망을 '문'의 형상과 그 출입 행위로 인식하고 표현한 것이다. 본 논문은 이러한 본인의 작품을 대상으로 이론적 배경과 형태적 근거, 표현방법 및 의도 등을 서술한 것으로 총 3장으로 구성되어 있다. 제 Ⅰ 장 서론에서는 연구목적과 연구방법 및 범주에 대해 서술하였다. 제 Ⅱ 장 본론에서는, 1. 작품의 정신적 배경으로 욕망의 철학적 접근을 통한 고찰과 그 대상으로서 '유토피아'의 의미 대하여 서술하였으며 이를 본인이 '문'의 현상으로 인식하게 된 근거를 밝혔다. 2. 작품의 형태적 근거로서 '문'이 본인의 작품에서 재해석되는 과정에 대하여 논하고 그밖에 작품에 도입된 소재와 그 의미를 서술하였다. 3. 작품 분석에서는 작품 도판과 함께 작품의 표현 재료와 기법, 의도 등을 서술하였다. 제 Ⅲ 장 결론에서는 본인이 작품을 통해 표현 하려했던 인간의 욕망, 그리고 예술에 대한 본인의 의견을 정리하고 앞으로의 작업 자세를 밝혔다.|The life of human beings is in the continuity of desire to spout endlessly. The continuing pursuit of money, fame, power and sex in the life of actuality may be interpreted from this context. I came to study which meaning the desire that human beings try to arrive at utopia by transcending actuality has for human beings and came to recognize that the existence meaning of art and artist is the action to try to arrive at utopia through work by transcending actuality, by considering that the cause of this desire is in utopiaism at the same time. In my work, I recognized the meaning for utopia in human beings and the desire of human beings as the form of door and the action of entrance and exist and expressed it like this. This thesis is composed of 3 chapters totally as what described theoretical background, formal base, expression method and intention etc. on the subject of my work. In the introduction of chpater 1, this researcher summarized the relation between human beings and desire and described study goal, study method and category. In the main discourse of chapter 2, 1. This researcher clarified that the origin of desire is in the utopiaism of human beings by analyzinng desire through the theory of Lakang as the spiritual background of work and described my thought for art as the embodied expression action of desire. In addition, this researcher clarified the expression basis of work by discussing the symbolical nature that door has. 2. This researcher discussed the course that the form of door is reinterpreted in my work sd the formal base of work and described the introduced material and the connection nature of space. 3. In the analysis of work, this researcher expression material, technique and intention etc. with work plate. In the conclusion of chapter 3, this researcher arranged the human desire and utopia that I tried to express through work and my view for art and clarified future work attitude.
