외국어로서의 독일어 수업현장에서의 발음 교육

Abstract

대학 초급과정 독일어 교육의 궁극적 목표는 의사소통 능력을 키우는 것이다. 외국인과의 원활한 의사소통을 위해서는 정확한 의사전달이 기본이 되고, 이를 위해서는 정확한 발음 교육이 선행되어야한다. 먼저 본 논문의 Ⅱ장에서는 독일어 교육의 기본이 되는 발음교육?? 현재 한국 대학에서 실시되고 있는 양상을 살펴본다. 그리고 최근 한국에서 대학생과 성인을 위한 초급 과정 교재로 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 『Themen neu』 와 『Stufen』 을 비교해 본다. 이는 독일어 교육에서 발음 훈련의 위상과 중요성을 알아보고자 한다. 독일어 학습과정에서 학습자의 과오와 간섭이 일어나는데, 이는 대개 학습성취도 부족과 언어체계의 상이성에 기인한다. 간섭 현상은 모국어 습관이 외국어 학습에 부정적 영향을 미쳐 오류를 낳게 하는 것으로서, 이것은 언어습득에 큰 장애 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 한국어를 모국어로, 그리고 독일어를 학습 목표어로 하는 초급 과정 학생의 수업 교재와 교수 방법론에 초점을 맞추었다. 이를 위해 Ⅲ장에서는 독일어와 한국어의 음운 체계를 비교하고 초분절적 자질인 강세규칙과 억양구조를 대비시켜 두 언어간의 차이점을 알아보았다. Ⅳ장에서는 자음과 모음, 강세와 억양에 있어서의 과오와 언어간의 간섭 양상 및 그 원인을 음소별, 문장 종류별로 분석해 보았다. 이 과정에서 모국어의 음운 목록에 없는 음을 대비시킨 연습이 충분치 않기 때문에 초급과정 학습자가 생소한 음을 인지하지 못하고 지나치는 점이 드러난다. 여?茱?는 한국어와 많은 차이가 나는 자음인 파열음과 마찰음을 중심으로 알아보았고, 한국어 음운목록에 없어서 한국 학생들이 낯설어 하는 독일어 모음 /y:, φ:, Y, œ, ∂/를 중심으로 각각 실제 단어를 예로 들었다. 또한 한국어에서는 변별성이 없으나, 독일어에서는 강세와 억양에 의해 의미가 달라지는 경우를 인식하지 못하는 학습자의 과오를 세부적으로 알아보았다. Ⅴ장에서는 독일어 초보 학습자를 위한 발음 교정 교육을 실제 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.|The ultimate goal of the beginning German education at the university is to enhance the communicative language ability. For fluent communication ability with the foreigners, the exact expression delivery needs to be accomplished, and to achieve this, the basis of the correct pronunciation education is needed. Above all, this essays Chapter Ⅱ examines the current working pronunciation education at Korean universities that is the basis of the German education and compares two textbooks, 『Themen neu』 and 『Stufen』, which are widely used as the beginning courses textbook. It leads us to be aware of the position and the importance of the pronunciation practice in the German education. In the stages of German language learning, a learner makes many mistakes and interventions due to the lack of desire to achieve the language and the mutually different language system. The intervention phenomenon means that the mother language has a bad influence upon the foreign language learning, producing mistakes. Therefore, it is a serious obstacle factor for the acquisition of the language. This essay focuses the teaching textbook and the teaching methodology for the beginning courses students that consider the Korean as the mother language and the German as the target language to learn. For that matter, the difference between Korean and German languages is examined in Chapter Ⅲ by comparing the accent rule as the suprasegmental feature with the intonation structure. In Chapter Ⅳ, the confusion between the consonant and the vowel, the accent and the intonation is examined. Also, the aspect and the reason for the language intervention are analyzed by phonemes or sentence types. During this process, it appears that the beginning learner doesn't recognize the unfamiliar sound because the full practice for the non-existing sound of the phonetic sound list wasn't supported. This essay focuses on Aspirated sounds and Fricatives that differ from the Korean language, and gives examples of each actual word focused on German vowels /y:, φ:, Y, œ, ∂/that are unfamiliar for the Korean students since these vowels don't exist in the Korean phonetic sound list. In addition, this essay acknowledges the learners mistakes of not being able to recognize the change in the German word meanings depending on its accent or intonation, because the Korean does not have the phonetic distinction. Chapter Ⅴ suggests a method that can utilize the pronunciation correction education for the beginning promote learners in practice.
