연극적 공간 연출에 의한 성 표현연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2000년과 2002년 사이에 제작한 본인의 판화 작품들을 중심으로 내용적 측면과 조형적 측면을 연구 분석한 것이다. 본인은 인간이 살아가는 생활 모습 가운데, 인간에게 있어서 가장 중요한 본능중의 하나인 성에 초점을 맞추었다. 인간의 성이 가지고 있는 생식의 목적과 함께 삶에 대한 강인한 의지가 되는 긍정적인 측면보다는 오늘날 성 개방과 더불어 빚어지고 있는 부정적인 측면을 반영하고자 하였다. 특히 현대 사회의 어두운 한 부분을 차지하는 뒷골목의 매춘 여성들을 이미지화하여 여성의 성이 상품화 도구로 이용되는 삶의 한 단면을 표현하고자 하였다. 우선, 성적인 측면에서의 미술 표현과 그 사회적 배경을 살펴보고, 특히 본인의 작품에서 추구하고 있는 표현 내용과 유사점이 많은 pop art 작가들을 중심으로, 일상 속에 범람하는 성적 이미지들을 소비 사회를 상징하는 하나의 기호로써 표현하고 있는 점을 도판을 제시하면서 분석하였다. 본인이 작품에서 여성의 성을 상품처럼 매매되는 성으로 표현함에 있어, 등장 인물들을 포토몽타주 방법으로 구매 심리가 일어나도록 성 이미지화 시켰다. 그에 따른 조형적 진행 과정 및 기법을 구체적으로 설명하였다. 화면은 실제 본인의 주변에 존재하는 공간을 도입하여, 연극적 공간으로 연출되는데 인공적으로 화면에 국한되고, 구성되어지는 과정을 연구하고, 색상을 사용함에 있어 색채 자체가 자아내는 일반적인 느낌과 성 표현의 측면에서 그에 따른 상징적 의미를 설명하였다. 끝으로 본인이 제작한 판화 작품 사진을 제시하고, 그 표현의 발상 배경과 ?喚? 과정, 형태가 가지고 있는 세세한 성의 특징과 방법적인 단계를 구체적으로 분석, 설명하면서 앞으로의 작품 제작상의 개선점을 발견하고자 하였다.|This treatise is that analyze my print work manufactured between 2000 and 2002 for a sense and formative method I want to express prostitution women who is modern social dark part. Also, presented through pop art writers' photo-printing who express sexual images which overflow in everyday as one symbol that symbolize consumption society. I want to express woman's sex in my work, characters expressing by photo-montage method, with point that express modern's sex mentality, so that explained formative progress process and techniques in detail. Screen introducing actuality space that exist on my surrounding, is produced by space of a play, As my expression contents are sex's fringeland, introduced space of a play production to explain space composition and composition of a screen process according to subject. Study composition process that woman's sex is limited on screen artificially, and explained symbolism accordingly general impression and side of sex expression that color itself draws out. Also, presented through work picture how print work that I manufacture expressed. I wished to analyze gradually sex's characteristic that image of my print work through background concept of work and explanation of composition process has and detect improvement.
