애착과 결혼만족도와의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 심리도식의 매개효과를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 기혼 남성과 여성 454명으로 애착 척도, Jeffrey E. Young의 심리도식 척도, 부부만족 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 설문을 통해 얻은 자료는 t 검증, 상관분석, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애착, 심리도식, 결혼만족간의 상관을 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 한 결과, 애착과 결혼만족은 정적상관을 보였고, 심리도식과 결혼만족은 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 집단 간의 차이를 확인하기 위하여 t 검증을 한 결과, 남성 집단이 여성 집단보다 결혼만족도가 높았고, 안정애착이 불안정애착 집단보다 결혼만족도가 높았다. 셋째, 전체 집단의 불안정애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 심리도식의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해서 회귀분석을 한 결과, 불안정애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 심리도식의 매개효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 매개한 도식은 정서적 결핍, 유기, 불신/학대, 사회적 고립/소외, 결함/수치심, 실패, 의존/무능감, 정서적 억제, 부정성/비관주의 도식이 검증되었다. 넷째, 불안정애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 심리도식의 매개효과를 성별로 검증해 본 결과 성별로 매개한 도식의 차이가 있었다. 남성 집단에 매개한 도식은 불신/학대, 사회적 고립/소외 도식이었고, 여성 집단에 매개한 도식은 정서적 결핍, 유기, 사회적 고립/소외, 결함/수치심, 실패, 위험/질병에 대한 취약성, 정서적 억제, 부정성/비관주의, 처벌이었다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 임상적 함의와 한계 및 후속연구에서의 제안을 논의하였다.|The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effect of schema on the relationship between attachment and marital satisfaction. One hundred fifty eight married men and two hundred ninety six women were recruited from Metropolitan Seoul areas and were asked to fill out the Attachment Scale, The Young schema Questionnaire and The Marital satisfaction scale. The data was analyzed through t-test, correlation and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows: First, the correlation analysis showed statistically significant correlations among attachment, marital satisfaction and schema. Second, t-test showed the marital satisfaction in male group was higher than that of the female group, and the marital satisfaction in stable attachment condition was higher than that of the unstable attachment condition. Third, the hierarchical multiple regression analysis in the whole group showed the mediating effects of emotional deprivation, abandonment, mistrust/abuse, social isolation/alienation, defectiveness/shame, failure, dependence /incompetence, emotional inhibition, negativity/pessimism schema variables for the relationship between attachment and marital satisfaction. Forth, the hierarchical multiple regression analysis in male group showed the mediating effects for the mistrust/abuse, social isolation/alienation schema variables on the relationship between the attachment and marital satisfaction. In case of female group, the results showed the mediating effects of emotional deprivation, abandonment, social isolation/alienation, defectiveness/shame, failure, vulnerability to harm or illness, emotional inhibition, negativity /pessimism, punishment schema variables for the relationship between attachment and marital satisfaction. Finally, the clinical implication and limitation of this study and suggestion for future studies were also discussed.
