안에서 밖으로 밖에서 안으로

Abstract

본 연구는 본인의 창작활동이 삶과 관계되어지는 지점에 대한 연구과정으로 구성 하였다. 작업에 몰입하다가 보면 가끔은 왜 작업을 하는지 작업이 삶에 어떠한 의미와 가치가 있는지 자문해보게 된다. 이 글은 이러한 의문에 대한 자답이다. 본인에게 그림이라는 것이 어떠한 의미가 있는지에 대한 고민이고 또한 인간과 삶에 대한 고민이다. 때문에 그동안의 작업에 대하여 생각해보는 것은 스스로의 삶에 대해 생각해보는 것이고 나아가 인간의 삶에 대해서 생각해 보는 것이다. 작품 안에서의 의미를 생각해 보기 위하여 작품 밖에서의 삶의 모습들에 대해 생각해 보았다. 이것은 작품이 삶의 반영이기 때문이다. 그 삶은 그저 한 인간으로 보편화 될 수 있다고 생각한다. 그 모습은 ‘목적감’, ‘의미감’, ‘능력감’,으로 충만된 삶과 밀착되어진 모습이기도 하고, 삶의 주체이기 때문에 느끼는 실존적 고독에 모습이기도 하고, 좌절, 실패, 죽음... 그 많은 ‘비존재’를 겪는 모습이기도 하다. 하지만 좌절이나 실패는 성공에 가능성을 내포하고 있기 때문에 비극은 ‘비존재’한다. 이것은 본인이 인식하고 있는 인간의 모습인 동시에 스스로의 모습이다. 따라서 그림에 나타난 조형적 표현 형식에 대하여 생각해본 결과를 토대로 하여, 행위에 내재적 의미와 무의식이 조형적 형식으로 어떻게 표현되어 나타났는지에 대해 생각해 보았다. 작품 안에 그려진 모습과 작품 밖에 인간의 모습에 대해 생각해 보았다. 삶과 본인의 작업에서 의미를 생각해보고 삶의 방향과 본인의 작업이 나아갈 방향에 대해 도움이 되고자 한다.|This study is focused on the insight into the overlap between my art work and life. I often question myself why I am indulged in this work and how important my art work is in my life. This study aims to answer the questions to me. This study speculates about the true meaning of arts as well as the nature of human being and life. The idea is that my life is reflected on my art work and the nature of human life could be found in it. In order to find out the implicit meaning of the work, the aspects of real life are discussed since my work does not exist without my life. My life may be generalized as a typical human life. Our life is built up on our ‘ideology’, ‘belief’ or ‘pride’, stands for the existential solitude and also comes across ‘non-beings’ such as frustration, failure and death from time to time. However, ‘agony’ is not one of the ‘non-beings’ because frustration or failure is another expression of potential success. This is human figure and my figure that I have a recognition. Therefore, I have think about how form of unconsciousness expression and the intrinsic meaning of drawing. The overlap between the work and the real life is reviewed. The meaning of life and my work is carefully speculated and the future direction of my life and work is identified.
