아동미술 교육에 있어 한국화의 효율적 지도연구 : 초등학생을 중심으로

Abstract

지금 우리의 미술 교육에서 중요한 것은 다른 나라의 문화를 맹목적으로 수용하기보다는 전통 문화를 이해 · 계승하고 현대적 상황에 맞게 발전, 재창조 할 수 있는 역량을 키우는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 위해서 다양한 분야에서 노력이 이루어져야겠지만 한국화 분야에서의 중요성은 다른 것 보다 더 크다고 할 수 있다. 미술교육에서 한국화의 교육은 매우 중요하며 어려서부터 우리 문화와 미술을 자연스럽게 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공해야함에도 불구하고 우리의 교육 현장에서는 전통 미술을 점할 수 있는 기회가 드물고 전통미술인 한국화에 관한 실제교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이라고 생각된다. 이런 의미에서 초등 학생을 중심으로 한 한국화의 효율적인 지도 방법을 모색해야 할 필요성이 있다고 생각하여 본 연구에서는 우선 초등 학교에서의 한국화 교육이 제대로 이루어지고 있는지를 파악하기 설문 조사를 통해 문제점을 파악 할 수 있었다. 한국화 교육에 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 아동들이 흥미가 있어야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 한국화를 많이 접해보고 경험하게 해야한다. 한국화 지도시 용구와 재료 사용을 제한하지 않고 개방함으로써 전통적 기법의 틀에 얽매이지 않고 한국화 교육에 있어 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 하였다. 또한, 아동에게 있어서 한국화의 효율적 지도가 이루어지기 위해서는 미술 교과서와 교사용 지도서에서 표현 방식, 재료, 기법, 사용안내가 좀더 상세하게 기술되어야 하며 교사들의 연수 기회를 확대하고 미술전담교사의 비중을 늘려야 한다. 지금까지의 한국화 교육은 전통적 기법지도에 큰 비중을 두었는데 이것은 짧은 시간에 효과를 기대 할 수 없어 아동들이 흥미가 떨어지는 이유가 되었다. 때문에 한국화의 효율적 지도를 위해서는 아동들 나름대로의 독특한 표현 방식이 있다는 것을 이해하고 아동의 발달 단계에 ?쨈? 수업내용을 선정하여 보다 재미있고 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 제재와 내용으로 구성 되어져야 하며 아동 중심에서 재미를 느낄 수 있는 다양한 교수 학습 방법이 모색되어야 할 것이다.|It's important to re-create cultures of other countries based on our culture and time, rather than to blindly accept them, and further to understand, succeed and develop our traditional culture to grow proud Koreans in our art education now. Like the above mentioned, educating Korean arts is very important in art education, but the education hasn't made properly even though recognizing the importance of traditional arts in our in-education. An opportunity should be provided for children to naturally expose themselves in our culture and arts. In this study, an efficient teaching method is sought and proposed targeting elementary students following to a needy to make the education of our traditional arts, Korean painting, from the childhood. Firstly, the education considered a development pace of children should be made when teaching Korean painting with an understanding that children have their own original expressive styles and characteristics. Secondly, problems can be found through a questionnaire to figure out how the education of Korean painting is made in elementary schools. Thirdly, it's suggested an approach to the education of Korean painting without obsessing a frame of traditional techniques by allowing to freely choose tools and materials in Korean painting education. The most important in the education is for children to have interests in Korean painting. To this end, children should expose to and experience many Koran paintings. Expressive ways, materials, techniques, and a guidance on how to use those should also be described in detail in art textbooks and teacher's books for efficient teaching Korean painting. An opportunity of teacher training should be expanded and the number of specialized art teachers increased. The Korean painting education has focused on traditional techniques so far but it's become one of reasons that children loose their interests on the subject. Hence, various teaching and learning methods should be sought to make children to have interests in the subject by selecting theme and contents to draw students' interests and easily approach. Through a desired education on Korean painting for children, it should be done that children recognize the superiority of our traditional arts and cultures.
