씨앗의 이미지를 통한 조형적 표현 연구 : 염색작품을 중심으로

Abstract

자연은 무한한 신비감과 우주의 생성변화의 순행원리를 인식 할 수 있는 좋은 소재로 그 자체로서 완벽하고 아름다움을 지닌 표현 대상물이다. 이러한 자연은 인간과 분리될 수 없는 것으로 인간의 본성은 자연을 근원으로 하고 있으며 자연과 더불어 살고 싶은 욕구와 함께 산업화된 현대 문명의 기계화 되어가는 혼란 상황 속에서도 주위환경이 예술가들로 하여금 자연을 소재로 하여 형상화하고 표현하게 한다. 이처럼 인간이 자연에서 본능적으로 아름다움을 느끼고 예술적 상상력을 얻는 이유는 자연이 가지고 있는 강한 생명력 때문이다. 이러한 자연이 주는 생명이미지를 표현하기 위한 소재로 씨앗은 생태보?맛? 위해 결실을 맺게 하는 강한 생명력을 지니고 있다. 이 씨앗은 처음에는 너무 작고 미미해 보이지만 씨앗으로부터 시작되는 생성, 성장, 소멸 등의 생명현상을 통해 소중한 하나의 생명체가 가지고 있는 무한한 에너지와 생명력을 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 씨앗은 많은 가능성과 강한 생명력을 지니고 있는 의미있는 존재이다. 씨앗을 통해 생명의 이미지를 나타내기 위해서 본인이 갖고있는 생명에 대한 경험과 감성, 그리고 감각에 기초를 두고 이의 조형적 표현을 꾀했으며, 씨앗을 유기체적 형상으로 표현하고 생동감과 율동미가 느껴지도록 배치하여 이미지를 상징화하였다. 이상의 내용으로 제작된 일련의 작품을 통해 씨앗의 형태변화에서 보여지는 시각적인 생명력뿐만 아니라 그 안에 흐르고 있는 에너지를 조합함으로써 씨앗의 이미지에 긍정적인 가치를 부여하고, 자연친화적 사상을 통해 인간을 자연 속의 한 생명으로 인식할 수 있는 계기를 갖고자 하였다.|Nature is the expression subject to be prefect and to have beauty in itself as good material to be able to recognize the infinite mystery sense and the progression principle of creation change of universe. This nature is what is inseparable from human beings. Then, human instinct is based on nature, and the surrounding environment enables artists to make nature into form and express it by making it of material. The reason why human beings feel beauty instinctively from nature and obtain the artistic imagination like this is because of the strong life power that nature has. Seed as the material for expressing the life image that nature gives has strong life power to fructify for ecosystem preservation. This seed seems to be too small and little at first, but we may see the infinite energy and life power that one important life body has through the life phenomenon such as creation, growth and extinction to start from seed. Seed that this researcher tries to handle in this study is the significant existence to have many possibilities and strong life power. So as to show the imafe of life through seed, this researcher sought the plastical expression on the basis of the experience, sensitivity and sense for life that I have and symbolized image by expressing seed into organic form and arranging it so that vivid sense and rhythmical beauty may be felt. This researcher tried to give affirmative value to the image of seed by mixing the visual life power to be seen in the change of seed form and the energy flowing in it through a series of work manufactured with above contents and tried to have the momentum to be able to recognize human beings as one life in nature through the thought to be familiar with nature.
