수학 영재 교육 연구

Abstract

21세기의 교육정책은 학생들의 다양한 능력의 향상을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 볼 때, 우리 나라에서의 영재교육은 국가경쟁력을 강화하는데 중요한 과제 중 하나 이다. 수학 영재교육이란 뛰어난 자질을 가진 사람들이 그 타고 난 잠재가능성을 마음껏 개발할 수 있도록 고무하고 격려함으로써 그들 한 사람 한 사람이 모두 행복한 개인으로 성장하도록 도와주어야 한다는 교육적 신념의 일부이다. 본 연구는 수학 영재성과 수학 영재아의 행동 특성을 정리하고, 우리나라 영재교육의 문제점과 우리나라의 영재교육에 있어서 좋은 참고 자료가 되는 미국, 중국, 헝가리, 러시아의 주요국의 영재교육 현황을 토대로 우리 나라 수학 영재교육의 육성 방안을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 영재교육의 체계는 나이가 어릴수록 영재 선발의 범위를 넓게 하여 영재 교육대상자의 비율을 많게 하다가, 점차적으로 나이가 들면서 다양한 교육 프로그램과 선발을 거쳐서 더욱 영재성이 두드러지게 나타나는 학생들을 대상으로 집중적인 영재교육을 실시하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 이에 따라 영재교육기관의 자율성을 부여하여 선발에 있어서 특정 재능분야의 축적된 지식과 함께 창의적이고 생산적인 전문가로서 필수 불가결한 탐구과정, 흥미 정도, 집착력을 평가할 수 있게 하며, 상위학교와의 연계성을 가지기 위해 학점을 인정해주어 조기에 생산적이고 창의적인 전문가가 배출될 수 있도록 하여야 할 것이다. 무엇보다도, 이러한 환경을 만들기 위해서는 정부의 적극적인 지원이 필요할 것으로 행·재정상의 획기적 직원을 적극 고려할 수 있다.|In our century, the educational policy emphasize the improvement of various ability of our students. In this environment, the education for gifted students is one of important subject in Korea to strengthen the competitive power of our nation. The talent education of mathematics is a part of educational faith to help one by one to grow as happy individual by encouraging those who have excellent quality to develop the inborn potential freely. The goal of this study is to arrange the talented nature of mathematics and the action feature of the talented student of mathematics and examine the upbringing scheme of talent education of mathematics of our country on the basis of the talent education of other countries such as United States of America, China, Hungary, Russia will be good references on studying the talent education of our country. As for the system of talent education, it will be necessary to execute the intensive talent education on the students that talented nature appears more strikingly through diverse education programs and screening as they grow old gradually, while making the rate of subject of talent education much by widening the of talent screening as age is young. In accordance with this, we will have to enable the creative and productive specialist to evaluate essential study course, interest degree and attachment with the accumulated knowledge of special talent field in screening by giving autonomy to the education institution of talent. And, we will have to try, so that productive and creative specialist may appear in early stage by recognizing credit so as to have the connection nature with upper grade schools. Above all, we may consider the epoch-making support in administration and finance positively as what need the positive support of government for making this environment.
