쇼팽의 <Andante spianato and Grand Polonaise brillante Op.22>분석 및 연구

Abstract

쇼팽(Frederic Francois Chopin, 1810-1849)은 낭만주의 음악을 피아노로 가장 잘 표현한 대표적인 작곡가이다. 낭만주의 정신에 조국 폴란드에 대한 정서를 담아 자신만의 독특한 음악세계를 구축한 쇼팽은 자신의 섬세한 내면을 피아노 음악으로 표현하였고, 피아노를 낭만주의의 대표적인 악기로 부각시키는데 크게 기여하였다. 쇼팽은 스케르초, 에튀드, 즉흥곡 등 다양한 장르의 피아노곡을 작곡하였다. 존 필드(John Field, 1782-1837)의 피아노곡에서 처음으로 소개 되었던 녹턴은 쇼팽의 작품에서 그 서정성이 더 한층 고양 되었고, 발라드는 쇼팽이 처음으로 그 이름을 피아노 곡에 사용하여 중요한 장르로 부각시켰으며, 폴로네이즈와 마주르카는 그의 애국적 정신이 예술로 승화된 작품이다. 쇼팽은 폴란드의 민족정신을 예술적 악곡으로 표현한 폴로네이즈를 총 16곡 작곡하였는데 그 중 <안단테 스피아나토와 그랜드 폴로네이즈 브릴란테, Andante spianato and Grand Polonaise brillante Op.22>는 피아노 독주용인 <안단테 스피아나토>와 관현악을 위한 <폴로네이즈>로 구성되어 있다. 그렇지만 두 부분 모두 피아노로 연주할수 있도록 되어있으며 오늘날 독주회용 악곡으로 많이 연주된다. 본 논문에서는 쇼팽 피아노음악의 전반적인 특징과 폴로네이즈의 역사와 음악적 특징을 고찰하고 <안단테 스피아나토와 그랜드 폴로네이즈 브릴란테>를 분석하였다. 서정적이면서도 고요하고 아름다운 분위기의 안단테 스피아나토는 크게 세부분으로 나누어지며, 화려하게 빛나는 선율과 박진감 넘치는 폴로네이즈 리듬의 폴로네이즈 역시 3부 형식이며 긴 종결부를 가지고 있다. 쇼팽은 서정적인 아름다움의 안단테 스피아나토와 화려한 폴로네이즈의 대비를 통하여 큰 연주 효과를 내타낼 수 있도록 하였다.|Frederic Francois Chopin (1810-1849) is a representative composer to express the romanticism music with piano. Incorporating the sensibilities of his mother land Poland into the spirit of romanticism to make his own unique music, Chopin expressed his delicate insight through his music and his own unique music with piano and played a critical role in making piano as one of the representative musical instruments in romantic deriad. Chopin composed various piano music including those titled 'scherzo', 'etude' and 'impromptu' etc. Chopin was deeply impressed by John Field's nocturne and composed his own Nocturne. Chopin was the first to name ballad to explore a new genre. Polonaise and mazurka are his music that sublimated his patriotism into an art. Chopin composed total 16 polonaises that transformed his patriotism into artistic music, among which Andante spianato and Grand Polonaise briilante Op. 22 consists of Andante spianato for piano solo and Polonaise for orchestral music. However, both of the two parts can be played with piano, which is frequently played for solo in recent years. This study examined the overall characteristics of Chopin's piano music and the history and musical features of Polonaise; an analysis of Andante spianato and Grand Polonaise brillante Op.22 is also provided.
