성적언어에 의해 억압된 여성성의 표현에 관한 연구 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2000년부터 2003까지 본인의 작품을 중심으로 한 성적언어에 의해 억압된 여성성의 표현에 관해 여성의 입장에서 연구, 분석한 것이다. 억압되어있고 소극적이었던 현대 사회 속의 성에 관한 여러 현상과 문제점들이 최근에 이르러서야 표면화되었고 생물학, 심리학, 사회학, 인간 관계학 등 다양한 각도의 노력이 각층에서 일어나고 있다. 하지만 아직도 많은 부분 종래의 통념적인 사고가 지배하는 사회구조 속에서 본인은 살고 있다. 본인은 이러한 사회구조속의 한 여성으로서 삶의 배경이 되는 이러한 문제에 대하여 관심을 가지고, 표현의 소재가 되는 것은 지극히 자연스러운 현상이라 하겠다. 본 논문에서 여성의 성적인 제반 문제점에 대한 궁극적 목적은 뿌리 깊은 남성중심의 이데올로기 속에서 언어를 통한 억압을 더 이상의 수동적 모습이 아닌 여성의 성적 욕망을 해소하고, 배출하여 성에 대한 탈 고정 관념과 성적 공정과 평등에 있다고 본다. 이를 위하여 성적 경험을 바탕으로 한 일상적인 성적언어에 의하여 억압되고 차별되는 여성성에 관하여 표현한 본인의 작품을 중심으로 그 과정과 표현 방법을 분석한 것이다. ?? 논문에서는 우선 사회 속의 다양한 성의 현상 중에서 야기되는 여성에 관한 성차별, 성적 억압의 문제의 표현에 관한 동기를 지극히 개인적인 일상에서 겪는 성적 언어 속에서 찾아보았다. 그리고 여성성을 억압하는 성적 언어가 사회 속의 불평등한 권력구조에 있다고 보고, 사회 속의 성차별에 대한 이해와 구체적인 언어체계에서 살펴보았다. 또한 그것을 받아들이는 여성들의 성의식을 분석하고, 성 표현에 있어 좀더 능동적인 여성상을 갈망하였다. 이러한 것을 검토로 표현방식에서는 본인의 경험에서 나타나는 언어의 문제가 현재 일상에서 똑같이 반복되어짐에 따라, 경험의 흔적으로써의 기억을 통하여 잠재의식 속에서 자리 잡고 있는 성에 대한 감정들과 욕구를 표현했다. 그것의 표현에 있어 성적 상상력을 유발 시킬 수 있는 그 상징물로서의 일상적인 사물을 통하여 표현하는 과정을 서술하였다. 또한 이러한 소재를 효과적으로 표현하기 위하여 사진을 주로 이용한 은유적인 표현방법과 화면의 조형적 구성요소가 의미하는 상징성에 대하여 서술하였고 본인 작품과의 연계를 통해 이해를 돕고자 하였다.|This research is carrying out study and analysis for the expression of femininity suppressed by sexual language in woman's position, based on my own works from 2000 to 2003. Various states and problems have been revealed recently about sex within the suppressed and negative modern society. Also, efforts have been provided from different social classes, for various sides including biology, psychology, sociology and the study related to human relations. However, people are still living in the social structure where traditional common ideas are still dominating. I, as a woman living within such a social structure, am interested in these problems that form the background of life. Also, it could be said that it is extremely natural for such problems to become materials for expression. In this research, it has been shown that the ultimate objective about the problem related to the sexual basis of women is based on the way of getting rid of fixed ideas about sex and sexual impartiality and equality. It is to solve and discharge linguistic suppression and sexual desires of women more actively within the deeply rooted man-oriented ideology. For such an objective, my own works have been analyzed for process and ways of expression, because they are related to the femininity suppressed and discriminated by sexual language based on daily sexual experiences. Throughout this research, I have investigated the sexual discrimination about women, raised among various social states about sex, and the motive about the expression related to the problem of sexual suppression, along with daily experiences of sexual language. I have decided that the sexual language suppressing femininity is based on the inequal structure of power in the society. Therefore, I have investigated the understanding about sexual discrimination in the society and the concrete linguistic structure. Also, I have analyzed the sexual consciousness of women receiving such discrimination. I have tried to provide more active femininity for the sexual expression. For the method of expression considering such things, it could be said that the linguistic problem shown through my own experiences is repeated identically everyday. Therefore, through the memory as a trace of those experiences, I have expressed emotions and desires about sexuality deeply located in the subconsciousness. I have explained the method of expression through usual subjects as symbolic matters that could induce the sexual imagining power. Also, in order to express such materials effectively, I have used the method of a metaphoric expression mainly using pictures, and described the symbolism meant by the formative structuring factors of the screen. I have tried to make a contribution for understanding through the connection with my own works.
