생명체의 근원에서 바라본 세포이미지 연구 : 염색 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

언어적 정의에 의하면 '자연'은 볼 수 있는 현상의 세계를 뜻하지만, 인간에게 있어서의 자연은 정신적 지주이자 끊임없는 창조의 기반을 마?쳬蠻獵? 삶의 터전을 의미한다. 이 삶의 터전인 자연 안에는 일정한 법칙에 순응하면서도 동시에 질서와 조화 속에서 변화를 추구하는 생명체들이 있다. 이러한 수많은 생명체들은 생성과 소멸의 순환을 거치면서 서로의 관계속에서 생명력을 형성한다. 이러한 생명력을 표현하기 위해 본인은 생명체의 가장 기본 단위인 세포를 소재로 하여, 현미경을 통해 보여지는 정적인 형태의 세포 그 자체가 아닌 생명력의 동적인 형태에 시각을 맞추어 창조적인 의미를 창출하는데 중점을 두고 연구하였다. 그리고 동 작품에서는 동적인 형태의 세포를 통해 인간의 본능적이고 근본이 되는 생명력을 표현했을 뿐만 아니라 본인이 가지고 있는 생명의 소중함과 신비로움, 생명력의 위대함을 이입시켜 형상화하였다. 즉, 생명력에 대한 의식과 감정을 형상화하기 위해 원의 형태와 높은 채도의 색채를 선택하였고, 염색작업에서만 볼 수 있는 요소 [CO(NH_(2))_(2)] 얼룩과 에칭(Etching)기법을 결합시켜 본인 자신의 내적 감정을 시각적으로 예술화하는데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 작품을 표현하는데 주로 사용한 원의 형태는 생명체의 생성 과정을 통한 생명의 움직임을 나타냈다. 이는 생명이 만들어지는 ?鄕ㅐ? 통해 본인이 삶을 살아가면서 느꼈던 생명의 소중함과 혼자만이 아닌 서로의 관계속에서 이루어지는 생명체들의 모습을 통해서 더불어 살아가는 삶의 의미를 표현한 것이다. 작품의 색채는 정열적이고 강한 느낌의 오렌지(Orange)계열과 평화롭고 침착한 분위기의 신비로운 느낌을 주기 위한 그린(Green)계열, 그리고 블루(Blue)계열을 사용하였으며 높은 채도의 색상을 사용함으로써 생명의 밝고 깨끗한 느낌을 표현하고자 하였다. 주된 표현 방법으로는 에칭기법과 요소에 의한 얼룩을 혼용하였다. 세포이미지를 보다 세밀하고 구체적인 이미지로 표현하기 위해 에칭기법의 방사형 직선과 곡선을 사용하였고, 요소얼룩의 우연적인 효과를 통하여 세포이미지를 표현함으로써 시각적 효과에 중점을 두었다. 즉, 이 작품들은 생명의 신비로움과 생명 탄생의 동적인 힘을 느낄 수 있는 유기적인 형태로 표현된 것이다. 이러한 작품 형태에 나타난 유기적 형태는 자연의 생명성을 나타내고, 작품형태에서 표현되어지는 세포의 반복적 효과는 생성 이미지를 거듭 보여준다. 그리고 개체들을 하나의 집합체로 형성시켜 군상적 요소로 보임으로써 생성의 지속성을 나타낸다. 본인은 잎새를 관심의 대상으로 하여 잎새의 세포이미지를 통한 생명력의 의미를 유기적 형상으로 시각화 시키고, 이를 염색이란 매체를 통해 표현하고자 했다. 본 논문에서는 염색 작업을 통해 나타낸 생명의 의미와 세포의 이미지를 여러 관련 참고문헌를 통해 연구 분석하고, 본인 작품활동 방향에 발전지향적인 이정표로 삼고자 한다.|Nature means the visible phenomenon world by its linguistic definition, but the nature for human beings is a spiritual group and a ground for human life, which prepares for a base of an endless creation. This researcher tried to express the form of body life to adapt itself to definite law and to seek a change in order and harmony at a time. Numerous forms of life body form a life power from the mutual relationship through circulation and extinction by this way. In this thesis, so as to express this power of life, not the static form fine cell to be seen simply through microscope to be observed, I analyzed the cell by giving The creative meaning with having a view that the dynamic form of life power is the minimum unit to form the base of all the things, by choosing the cell which is the most basic unit of life body of cell. In addition, in my works, I tried to not only express a life power of human being which is instinctive and basic, by studying the meaning about life power through cell, but to give a shape that itself has the greatness power of life, with bringing the precious, mysterious feeling for it. In other wise, I chose colors, with a high chroma and a shape of circle, in order to give a form to the consciousness and the feeling of the life power. At the same time, I set up the goal of this study in visualizing my own inner feelings in art, by combining the element technique and the etching technique to be seen in the course of the dyeing work. The form of a circle has been used to show the movement of life power of continuous change and the circulation, which expressed the meaning of a life to live together, through the precious feeling life in life and the shape of the form of the body life, which is based on the mutual relationship. As for main expressed method, this researcher mingled the element technique with the etching technique. And it used, through the straight line of a radiate form of etching technique and the curve of static flow, to express more fine and concrete image of cell image. Then the expression of cell image through the effect of chance of element technique produced a great result for visual effect. That is, this works were expressed in the organic form to be able to feel the mysteriousness of life and the dynamic structure for the generation of life. The organic form shows the life nature and the repetitious effect of cell, which is expressed in the form of work, shows generation image over and over again, showing the element of group by forming individuals as one aggregate and expressing the durability of generation. I tried to visualize the meaning of life power through cell image in organic form by choosing leaflet as the subject of interest and express this through the media of dyeing. In this thesis by studying and analyzing the meaning of life and the image of cell shown through dyeing work on the basis of various relevant books, this researcher tries to present the milestone for future work activity.
