새의 이미지를 통한 자아의 심상표현 연구

Abstract

자연은 인간에게 동경과 호기심의 대상이 되어왔다. 따라서 인간과 자연은 필연적인 관계이며 조형 표현에 무한한 소재와 의욕을 제공해 준다. 이러한 자연은 인간과 분리될 수 없는 것으로 인간의 본성은 자연을 근원으로 하고 있다. 인간은 자연과 더불어 살고 싶은 욕구와 산업화된 현대문명의 기계화 되어가는 혼란 속에서도 주위환경이 예술가로 하여금 자연을 소재로 하여 형상화 하고 표현하게 한다. 오늘날의 과학적이고 기계적인 도시 환경 속에서 자연의 훈훈한 흙빛이나 싱그러운 햇살은 죽음을 상징하는 듯한 회색의 시멘트 색으로 바뀌어 가고 있으며 녹지대의 초목도 본래 녹색의 윤기를 잃고 오염된 공기에 시달리고 있다. 아름다운 자연의 색과 따뜻한 광채는 이러한 현대의 생활공간에 생명력 있는 환경을 가꾸어 줄 수 있는 삶의 희망을 나타낸다. 본 연구에서는 자연의 여러 형태 중에서도 인간과 가장 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 새와 산을 소재로 선정하여 표현대상의 조형적 특성을 파악하였으며, 그 이미지를 새로운 시각적 표현수단으로 재구성하였다. 따라서 본 연구자는 “새의 이미지를 통한 자아의 심상표현 연구”라는 주제로 하여 새를 산이라는 자연의 공간 안에서 조형적으로 형상화함으로서 새에서 느껴지는 상징적 의미와 형태의 아름다움을 서정적이며 생명감 있게 표현하고자 하였다. 자연의 아름다움과 살아있는 생명체는 인간과의 화합과 공존을 통해 조화를 이룬다. 자연의 모습을 변형 및 구성, 재조합을 통하여 자아의 심상을 시각적으로 표현하는데 중점을 두었다.|Nature has been in correlation with humans and such relationship has been that of aspiration and curiosity. Therefore the inevitability of nature-human relationship has provided us with endless materials and desires of model expression. Such nature is indivisible from humans and the natural instinct of humans has its origin in nature. Even in the chaos of mechanization of industrialized modern civilization, the desire to live with nature and surrounding environment make artists form and express nature. Inside scientific and mechanical city environment of these days, warm mud color of nature or bright sunshine are being replaced with gray color of cements, and green trees of greenbelts are losing their original color and are suffering from contaminated air. In such modern environment, by giving color of nature and warm luster, one can give hope of life and make more live environment. Among many materials in nature, I choose birds and mountains that are most closely related with humans, find characteristics ofthem and in turn reconstruct that image as a visual expression tool. Thus, I choose "The Mental Picture Expression Research which leads the Bird Image" as the title, form birds as a model in the nature called mountains, and try to express symbolic meaning and beauty of birds’shape lively. The goal of this study is to show the harmony of nature that is made by combining pure beauty that is not made by humans and life of the object, and to visually express self-image through reappearance, change and composition of the model.
