Abstract
“예술이란 무엇인가?”라는 예술에 대한 본질적인 물음은 예술의 실존적 의미를 묻는 것에서부터 해답을 찾을 수밖에 없다. “예술의 조건은 무엇인가?”라고 관찰 하여야 할 것이다.
화가가 예술 활동의 초점을 어디에 두느냐에 따라 여러 가지 방향에서 접근해 볼 수 있고 작품을 만들어 가는 과정에서 많은 의문점과 시련을 겪으면서 작업을 하고 그러한 과정에서 예술작품에 접근해 가는 방법은 화가들마다 다 가지각색이다.
본 연구자는 일상적 소재를 통해서 인간이 가지고 있는 삶 자체의 경험에서 나타나는 내적 감성인 추억과 기억이라는 요소들을 사물에 반영(反映)하여 오늘날 현대사회에서 소홀히 여기게 되는 인간내면의 감성(感性)을 이끌어 내기 위한 표현 과정을 설명하기 위한 것이다.
작품에 대한 이론적인 근거로 상징(象徵)의 미학적 개념을 연구하고 상징적 이미지가 작품에 어떤 의미를 부여하는지 설명하였다.
또한 표현방법에 있어서 선으로 이루어진 기하학적(幾何學的)인 모양을 이룬 형태의 인위적인 것과 우연적으로 나타난 배경의 효과를 통하여 작가의 의도에 의해 나누어진 화면의 여백의 의미를 다루어 보았다.
그리고 작품제작 과정을 개별적으로 분석 서술하여 그것을 토대로 앞으로의 작업 활동 방향과 문제제시의 근거를 마련하려는 계기로 삼고자 한다.|The essential question about "What is art?" cannot help seeking for a solution from asking the existential meaning of art. It will need to be observed as "What is the condition for art?"
As Kant said that art is what expressed esthetische Idee (aesthetic idea) of a human being, and as G.W.F. Hegel said that art is what Idee was expressed amid the sensitive form, the definition of art cannot be one.
The meaning of art can be tried to approach in many directions depending on which focus a painter has in artistic activity.
The meaning of art cannot be defined as one unit, and still, its meaning may be segmented depending on the focus of an approaching direction, enough to be included the direction in a meaning that preponderantly emphasizes and requests the creative aspect, the direction in a meaning that requests the very individually creative activity, the direction in a meaning that needs to be expressed the person in question by representing the popular aspect that is seen in the artist's ordinary eye, the direction in a meaning that preponderantly emphasizes and requests the philosophical aspect, and the direction in a meaning that cannot exclude sociality and needs to reflect its sociality.
Artists do work while experiencing many questions and trials in the process of proceeding with making works. In such process, a method of approaching to an artistic work is diverse in every artist.
The person in question was also confused with various questions about what the meaning of true art is and what the condition of art is in the working process of proceeding with making a work.
However, amid the confusion of sway, it was focused on 'Myself' as for a direction of approaching to a work.
Rather than striving to follow unique technique and materials aiming to hide my inability, I sought for a direction of honestly expressing even my looks that get stiff and are not free, thus the freedom of expression was obtained.
Therefore, with daily materials, through elements called retrospection and memory, which are internal sensitivity being shown in the experience of life itself that is possessed by a human being, it was tried to describe the process of expressing the world in the inside of a human being, which comes to be distant in today's modern society.
Also, through the effect of background, which was shown to be artificial and incidental in the form of geometry shape in a method of expression, it was tried to embody the world of the inside through abstractly interpreting the image of things according to the artist's intention.
And, it is aimed to further have it as the opportunity of arranging the basis in the direction of working activity and in the presentation of a problem, by individually analyzing and describing the process of manufacturing a work.
