사회 현실에 관한 비판적 연구 : 본인 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

예술의 표현은 삶과 동일선상에 놓여 있으므로 예술가는 자신을 둘러싸고 있는 현실과 불가분의 관계이며 현실에 대해 관심을 가지고 예술로 표현하려는 사회적 존재이다. 그리고 예술은 주체인 작가에 의해 형성되며 작가의 의식에 의해 현실반영에 대한 의미가 달라 질 수 있다. 다양한 관점 중에서 본인은 작가란 현실에 대한 모순과 불합리함을 비판적 시각으로 표현해야 한다는 주장에 공감한다. 본인은 이러한 시각을 바탕으로 조각을 구체적 현실에 대한 작가의 감정을 표현하는 장으로 간주하였다. 본 논문은 비판적 시각에 의한 사회현실의 특성을 살펴보고 이를 조형적으로 표현한 본인 작품을 논리적으로 서술한 것이다. 제1장 서론에서는 본인 작품의 출발이 되는 인식의 근거로부터 시작하여 연구목적과 방법을 밝혔다. 제2장 본론에서는 비판적 시각을 중심으로 사회 현실에 대한 본인의 인식 근거를 밝히고 비판적 관점을 취하게 된 요인과 그 반영에 대하여 설명하였다. 그리고 비판적 관점에 따른 작품 형태와의 관계를 밝히고 도시문명에 의한 여러 가지 문제점을 서술하였으며 이를 통해 표현한 작품의 제작의도와 과정을 설명하였고 작품설명으로 각각의 크기와 재료 및 표현방법을 설명하였다. 제3장 결론에서는 사회의 단면을 보여주는 예술로서의 조각이 갖는 의미를 정리하고 이것을 바탕으로 다각적인 연구방법을 위한 본인의 의지를 제시하고 있다.|Artists are closely related to the reality and should not be segregated from it. In addition, they become social beings by trying hard to apply their own artistic ideas to the reality. Every work of art, completed by artists, results from ideas of artists, and their masterpieces have different meanings because of the degree of application to reality understood by artists. Among the various point of views, I do not personally hesitate to say that artists should critically express the inconsistency and irrationality of reality. So, I consider here sculpturing as a field of expression where a sculptor implants his or her own emotions on specified reality. This thesis focuses on the characteristics on the social reality using a sharp engraving knife of my thoughts, and states pieces of sculptures which are logically denoted. Chapter 1 on introduction brings out a solid foundation of perception on reality and clarifies the research objective and its methods. Chapter 2 on main thesis mainly illustrates a point of view of my own about social acknowledgement of reality, factors brought into the pieces with critical angles, and their inflow into the each work, and it exposes a relationship with shapes according to each theme that works of sculpture have, describes some of questions on the urban cultures, and explains carving intentions and procedures of each work through those analytical standpoints. For the last, it fully discloses sizes, materials, and sculpturing methods of all the works. Chapter 3 on conclusion presents not only the significance of sculpture as an art which shows a section of society, bust also my will for various study methods based on the above.
