사회부과 완벽주의와 사회불안의 관계: 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 정서표현 양가성의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 사회부과 완벽주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 정서표현 양가성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기, 인천, 충남, 전북지역의 대학생 410명의 자료를 분석하였고, 측정 도구로는 사회부과 완벽주의 척도, 사회적 상호작용 척도 및 사회적 공포 척도, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움 척도, 정서표현 양가성 척도를 사용하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 PASW 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모형검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회부과 완벽주의, 사회불안, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 정서표현 양가성 간에 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 사회부과 완벽주의가 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 정서표현 양가성이 각각 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 상담 및 심리치료 실제에 대한 시사점과 본 연구의 한계점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.|The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of fear of negative evaluation and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness between socially prescribed perfectionism and social anxiety. The data from 410 undergraduate students were analyzed. Socially prescribed perfectionism scale, social interaction anxiety scale, social phobia scale, fear of negative evaluation scale, and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness questionnaire are used for measurement. To analyze the data, the study used PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 program, and conducted technical and statistic analysis, correlation analysis, and verification of structural equation model. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the statistical analysis showed that socially prescribed perfectionism, social anxiety, fear of negative evaluation, and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness are significantly positive correlated with each other. Second, in regards to the effects of socially prescribed perfectionism on social anxiety, fear of negative evaluation and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness mediated partially. Based on these results, the implications for counseling and psychotherapy practice and limitations of this study were discussed with the suggestion for the further study.
