사적 사물의 은폐를 통한 소통

Abstract

많은 예술가들이 그러하듯 본인은 진정한 사물의 본질을 이해하고 존재를 표현해내기 위해 노력한다. 그런 존재들이 본인에게 어떻게 다가오고 지속적인 관계를 이루고 있는가는 스스로의 모습을 살펴보기에 좋은 탐구 자료가 된다. 다양한 사물들과 만나며 살아가는 삶 속에서도, 비슷한 영향 아래에 생활하는 사람들은 서로 생각을 공유하고 행동하기 때문이다. 그러므로 물질에 대한 관심은 오브제라는 중요한 조형요소를 가져왔으며, 사물의 본질적인 의미와 내면세계에 대한 관심을 감성적 표현으로 드러내고자 한다. 현대 미술 개념과 방법의 다양성으로 작가들은 많은 표현의 자유를 누리게 되었고, 이런 흐름 속에서 작가의 자율성이 확립되는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 정신적 상황에 대한 내적인 자유의지의 표현이며 존재의 반영인, 자아표현이 더욱 더 강조되고 있는 시점이다. 본인은 작업에 기초가 되는 심리학-사물과 인간의 관계에 있어-을 첫째로 탐구하고자 했다. 개인적인 경험에서 비롯된, 사물과의 양면적 관계형성에서 드러나는 ‘스스로를 보호하기 위한 자기 방어적 태도’에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. 작품은 내적필연의 정신을 강조하고 사물의 정신과 물질, 존재와 객체의 이중성으로 설명된다. 이미지와 사물의 결합에서 오는 표현을 가시화시키는 방법으로 사용되어진 오브제 개념을 인식시키면서, 작품을 함에 있어서 무슨 재료를 사용할 것이며, 어떠한 방식으로 어느 공간에서 사물이 연출될 때에 묻어나오는 다양한 이미지를 나누어 작품의 전재를 설명하고, 비슷한 매체 혹은 형식을 가지는 작품들을 탐구하면서, 오브제의 상징성을 통해서 내부에서 외부로 향해가는 과정을 설명하고 거시적인 관점으로 작품을 바라보고자 한다. 본인의 작품들을 보다 심도 있게 살펴보면서 작품 속에서 예술적 행위가 가지는 궁극적인 목표를 표현하는 방식으로 풀어나갈 것이다. 작업에서 드러나는 개념의 심리학적 배경과 이를 표현하고자 하는 매체의 분석을 논하고자 한다. 이렇듯 본 논문을 통하여 또 다른 사물의 존재를 찾고 그 이차적인 이미지를 이미지와 글로써 표현하고, 주관적 서정성을 심미적 의식으로 재구성한 연구에 대해 논해본다.

| As it is true of numerous artists, the researcher too makes an effort to understand the genuine essence of objects and to express the being. The question of how these beings come across to the researcher and how continual relationship is formed becomes an outstanding data for self-reflection because people share their thoughts and act since they live the life of meeting and living along with diverse objects. Thus, interest in materials brought about important formative element called objet, and the essential meaning of objects and interest in the inner world were expressed emotionally. Artists enjoyed extensive freedom of expression thanks to the concept of contemporary art and diversification of methods. Amidst this trend, it is essential to establish artists’ autonomy. Accordingly, this is a juncture when the self-expression which is the reflection of the being and the expression of the free inner will when it comes to the mental state is emphasized even more.

First of all, the researcher sought to investigate psychology – pertaining to the relationship between objects and human beings – which serves as the basis of the artwork. That is, ‘self defensive attitude for protecting oneself’ that surfaces from the two faced relationship formation with objects and that which derives from personal experience will be examined. The artwork emphasizes the inner essential sprit and is explained by the duplicity of the objects’ spirit, materials, the being and objects. While raising awareness of the concept of objet which was used as the method for making the expression that derives from the union of image and object conspicuous, the prelude of the artwork was explained by dividing up the diverse images that derive from object is presented in a specific space and by leveraging the method of determining which material to use when producing artwork. Moreover, artworks with similar media for form will be studied, and the process with which migration from the inside to the outside through objet’s symbolism will be explained while perceiving artwork from a macro perspective.

While examining the researcher’s artworks in greater depth, the researcher will focus on the expression of the artistic act’s ultimate goal amidst the artwork. The researcher seeks to discuss the psychological background of the concept that is apparent in the artwork and the media that sought to express it.

Likewise, the being of yet another object is found through this research paper, ad the secondary image is expressed in image and writing, while research that is re-configured subjective lyricism with aesthetic awareness will be discussed.
