사설시조 교육의 문제점과 대안

Abstract

본 연구는 사설시조 교육이 변동하는 학계의 흐름을 반영하지 못한 채, 고정화된 지식만을 전달하고 있는 데 문제의식을 느끼고, 학교 현장에 있는 교사들이 사설시조를 교육함에 있어서 그 문제점을 판단하고 이를 해결하는 데 기여할 수 있도록 함을 연구의 목적으로 삼았다. Ⅱ장에서는 사설시조의 교육 양상과 문제점에 대해 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 11학년과 12학년에 심화과목에서 배우는 18종 문학 교과서를 그 대상으로 하였다. 교과서는 교사와 학생을 연계해주는 중요한 매개체가 되고, 목표나 내용의 짜임새에서 그것들의 가장 구체화된 모습이기 때문에, 교과서를 분석함으로써 교육 현장에서 행해지고 있는 사설시조 교육을 파악할 수 있다고 보았다. Ⅱ장에서는 교과서의 수록 현황, 단원 설정, 텍스트 양상, 목표-학습 활동 수록 양상, 사설시조 관련 쟁점의 반영 실태 등을 살펴 보았다. 사설시조 관련 쟁점의 반영 실태 양상을 살펴 본 결과, 교과서에서 학계의 쟁점들을 다 수용하지 못하였을 뿐 아니라 오류도 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 ‘작품 선정의 균형성’이 문제가 됨을 알 수 있었다. 즉 무명씨의 작품들을 주로 수록하는 점, 탈중세적 주제 의식을 다룬 작품들을 수록한 점이 ‘작품 선정의 균형성’ 측면에서 문제가 됨을 지적하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 앞에서 제시한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 다양한 텍스트를 활용한 사설시조 교육의 대안을 마련하였다. 먼저 사설시조 작자층 관련 제안에서는 ‘작자층의 균형성’을 염두해 두고, 사대부 계층과 중인 계층의 작품을 선별하여 제시하였다. 또한, 이를 활용한 학습 자료를 고안하였다. 이를 통해 학습자들은 맹목적으로 서민적 장르라 여겼던 사설시조 작품에도 다양한 작자층이 존재하고 있었음을 학습할 수 있다. 사설시조 주제 관련 제안에서는 먼저 교과서에 수록된 무명씨 작품들을 분석하고, 교과서에서 제시되고 있지 않은 몇 주제에 대한 작품을 선별하여 제시하였다. 이 장에서 제시한 학습 자료는 교과서 안의 작품과 교과서 밖의 작품을 연계하여 다양한 주제 의식을 학습하기 위한 학습 목표로 제시하였다. 학습자들은 이를 통해 사설시조의 다양한 주제 의식을 수용할 수 있고, 스스로 평시조와의 차별화된 사설시조의 미의식을 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 교육의 일선에 있는 교사들은 사설시조의 문제점을 파악하고, 이에 대한 적절한 교수 자료를 제시하는 데 활용 또는 참고할 수 있다. 학교에서 행해지고 있는 사설시조 교육의 오류 및 문제점들이 개선되기를 기대해 본다.|The education of 'Saseolshijo' has not reflected the mainstream of a changing academic world but only transferred a fixed knowledge. The purpose of this thesis is that teachers should be aware of the problem that 'Saseolshijo' has and solve it in teaching 'Saseolshijo' to their students. I will describe the education phase and problem of 'Saseolshijo' in chapter Ⅱ. To describe this, I chose 18 kinds of literature texts learned in the 11 and 12 grades. Since a textbook is an important means that connects a teacher and students and it is a specified shape in organizing an objective and a content, we can understand the education and context of 'Saseolshijo' that has been carried out in school by analyzing a textbook. I will describe the present situation of a textbook record, an unit choice, a textbook aspect, the record phase of an objective-learning activity and the realities reflected that are related to the issue of 'Saseolshijo' in chapterⅡ. As a result of seeing realities reflected that are related to the issue of 'Saseolshijo', I realized that there are some facts that a textbook didn't receive all the issue of an academic world and it also has errors. Moreover, there is a problem in balancing the choice of works, that is, a textbook mainly consists of the works that were written by the writer whose fame had not been known and those that deal with common people's theme awareness. I will describe the alternative of 'Saseolshijo' education in chapterⅢ as the solution, which uses a variety of texts. The balanced formation of an author will be emphasized concerning the author of 'Saseolshijo' and the works of a gentry and the public will be presented. Besides, learning materials using it will be devised. Through this, learners can understand that there have been various authors in 'Saseolshijo' that was considered as common peoples' genre. I analyzed unknown writers' works recorded in a textbook and some works that are not contained in a textbook regarding 'Saseolshijo' theme. Learning materials presented in this chapter are the role of connecting works recorded in a textbook and those not contained in a textbook, which is presented as an objective for learning a various theme awareness. Learners will be able to accept a variety of theme awareness of 'Saseolshijo' and the its beauty different from 'Peongshijo.' Through this thesis, teachers can understand the problem of 'Saseolshijo' and offer their students proper learning materials. I hope that the problem of 'Saseolshijo' education will be solved and enhanced as soon as possible.
