빛 이미지를 통한 심상표현 연구 : 염색 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

예술은 우리에게 감정이라는 것을 사색하게 하고 객관적으로 볼 수 있게 해준다. 예술은 일상생활을 표현형식으로써 관찰하고 생각하게 하는 역할행위인 것이다. 모든 일상생활은 예술에 의하여 개개인에게 의미 있는 감정의 심벌이 된다. 본인에게 '빛'은 의미 있는 예술대상이다. 빛이란 주변환경과 같이 어우러져 대상에 반영되고 연출되는 그 자체의 아름?牟遲? 있다. 본 연구에선 빛의 물리적인 현상에 대한 단순한 모사를 넘어 존재론적 차원으로 인식하여 빛을 주제로 선택한 배경과 빛의 생명에 대해 그 의미와 이미지를 살펴보고자 한다. 빛 속에 내재되어있는 의미인 생명을 형상화하기 위하여 투명한 유리조각과 실타래 등 일상생활에서 흔히 접할 수 있는 사물을 소재로 삼아 빛 속에 융해되어 버리고 그 자체를 흐름·투과 등의 빛의 속성에 근거하여 단순한 형태와 여백으로 표현하여 빛의 이미지를 조형화 하고자 하였다. 이상의 내용으로 제작된 일련의 작품들을 통해 물질적인 존재로써의 빛과 인간의 마음속의 생명력의 상징으로써의 빛 이미지를 조합함으로써 빛의 긍정적인 가치를 부여하고 인식할 수 있는 계기를 갖고자 하였다.|Art makes us mediate on emotion and look at it objectively. Art is the behavior of role to make us observe and consider our daily life as an expressive form. All of our daily life can become emotional symbols which are meaningful to individuals by art. To the present writer, 'Light' is a meaningful object of art. Light has its own beauty reflected and produced on the object to be mixed with the surroundings. In this study, we do not only describe the simple physical phenomenon of light, but also recognize light in ontological aspect and observe the background to select light for a subject and the meaning and image in the vitality of light. To formalize life-the inherent meaning of light-, usual matters in daily life like pieces of transparent glass and bunches of thread became the materials of work, and the image of light was formalized in this work through expression of simple feature and blank based on the property of light like fusion, flow, transmission, etc. This series of works as mentioned above could be the opportunity to make us recognize and grant the positive value of light by mixing the light as materiality with the image of light as a symbol of human in most vitality.
