브람스의《첼로 소나타 1번》(op.38)에 대한 분석연구 - 제 3악장을 중심으로-

Abstract

브람스(J. Brahms, 1833-1897)가 활동한 19세기는 일반적으로 낭만주의로 규정하지만 사실주의, 자연주의, 역사주의와 같은 다양한 음악 사조가 공존했던 시기였다. 그 중 낭만주의가 끝나고 등장한 역사주의는 옛 것에 대한 관심으로부터 시작되었다. 포르켈(J. N. Forkel, 1749-1818)과 멘델스존(F. Mendelssohn, 1809-1847)에 의해 바흐(J. S. Bach, 1685-1750)의 작품이 재조명 받게 되며 그의 음악에 대한 연구와 연주에 대한 음악적 관심이 높아졌다. 이러한 음악적 환경 속에서 작곡가들에 의해 바흐의 음악 양식이 수용되었고 시대에 맞게 변화 되어졌다. 브람스의 작품은 19세기의 다양한 음악 경향 중 ‘고전성’을 간직한 작품으로 많이 연구된다. 특히 브람스의《첼로 소나타 1번》(op. 38, 1865) 제 3악장은 푸가형식으로 작곡되어 19세기 역사주의 관점에서 바흐 수용에 대한 결과물로 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 브람스의《첼로 소나타 1번》제 3악장을 중심으로 19세기 음악에 수용된 푸가형식에 대하여 연구하며 제 3악장의 분석을 통해 브람스가 푸가형식을 어떻게 수용, 발전 시켰는지 확인하고 독주악기인 첼로와 피아노 간의 음악적 관계를 바탕으로 한 연주해석을 이끈다.|The 19th century in which J. Brahms(1833-1897) was active was generally romantic, but it was the period when various musical influences such as realism, naturalism, and historicalism coexisted. Historicalism emerged after romanticism began with interest in the old. The works of J. S Bach(1685-1750) will be reviewed by J. N Forkel(1749-1818) and F. Mendelssohn(1809-1847), and his musical interest in the study and performance of his music Respectively. In this musical environment, Bach's musical style was accepted by composers and changed for the times. Brahms' works are studied in many works of the 19th century, including 'classicism' among various musical tendencies. In particular, Brahms'《Cello Sonata No. 1》(op. 38, 1865), the third movement, was composed in fugue form and can be seen as an outcome of Bach's acceptance from the perspective of 19th century history. In this paper, Brahms'《Cello Sonata No. 1》 focusing on the third movement, is studied about the fugue form accepted in the 19th century music. Through the analysis of the third movement, it is confirmed how Brahms adopted and developed the fugue form, It leads to the interpretation of the performance based on the musical relation between the in cello and the piano.
