봄 이미지의 금속표현연구

Abstract

조형에 있어 자연의 세계는 보다 친밀하게 표현 가능성을 제시해 왔다. 이러한 자연의 소재 중 특히 계절에 의한 주변사물의 변화는 또 다른 흥미를 자극하여 창작의 욕구를 불러일으킨다. 무언가 변화의 시기가 되면 격동기가 있듯 계절의 변화 역시 그냥 덤덤히 오고 가는 것이 아니라, 시샘도 하고 자리싸움도 하면서 온다. 특히 봄은, 만물의 소멸로 상징되는 겨울과 생명의 충만함을 상징으로 하는 봄의 다툼 후에 오기 때문에 봄을 기다리는 마음은 더욱 앞서게 된다. 따라서 혹독한 추위로 움츠러든 겨울날이 사람들로 하여금 생명의 탄생으로 온 대지에 생기를 불어 넣어주는 봄을 기다리게 하는 것은 지루한 일상에서 벗어나 변화를 주고자 하는 마음과 같다. 본 연구자는 이런 기다림을 갖게 하는 봄을 주제로 계절의 변화에 의해 느껴지는 감정들을 조형화 하고자 한다. 이를 표현함에 있어서는 우리들의 주변에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 저장 채소에 싹을 틔우는 모습을 연출하여 봄의 생명력을 느낄 수 있도록 하고, 부분적으로는 사각 프레임을 사용하여 새싹이 잘 자랄 수 있는 보호의 여건으로 온실과 같은 분위기를 나타내고자 한다. 그리고 반복되는 일상을 변화시키고자 하는 마음을 나른한 겨울날 봄의 느낌을 좀 더 빨리 얻고자 하는 마음에 비유하고, 봄에 대한 기다림을 식물에 인위적인 상황을 부여해주어 식물의 향일성(向日性)으로써 시각적으로 형상화 하여 표현하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 내면적 감성을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 계기를 마련하고, 매일 반복되는 무료한 생활에 익숙해진 사람들의 마음에 희망을 불어 넣어 주고자 한다.|The world of nature in modeling has been representing the possibility of expression more friendly. Among the sources of the nature, in particular, the change of the surrounding substances by season stimulates another zest and motivates the desire of creation. As there is a period of upheaval at the time of change, the change of season does not also come silently, but comes with enviousness and the fierce fighting for place. In particular, as spring comes after the fight between the winter which is symbolized as extinction of all nature and the spring which symbolizes the repletion of life, the mind to wait for spring is more preceded. Accordingly, the winter blenched with severe cold, making the people to wait for spring, which infuses the vitality on the earth by the birth of life, is identicalto have the change out of tedious daily life. The researcher has been trying to model the feelings felt by the change of season with the theme of spring making us to wait for it. In representing this theme, I have been trying to present the appearance of store vegetable puttingforth bud in order to feel the vitality of spring and, using the square frame partially, the environment like greenhouse as the protective condition for the new bud to grow well. In addition, I have been figuring the mind to change the tedious daily life to have the feeling of spring in winter earlier, and by granting artificial situation to the plants waiting for spring, presenting the shape visually as the heliotropism of the plants. I have been preparing the opportunity to induce the inner sensitivity through this thesis, I have been trying to provide hope and vitality to the mind of people who are very much familiar with the repetitive tedious daily life.
